Change how bullet impact mechanics work.

Really? In real life I think that if you were hit by four bullets, you either wouldn't have the strength or you'd be in too much pain to continue running forward. Also, even if you could, War isn't supposed to be realistic.

The bug sounds annoying however, hopefully that's something that could be fixed without too much effort.

 

In real life you wouldn't be alive wouldn't you want to keep it this way then have something to complain about further if this would to be implemented I.e dying faster.

 

Here's why we don't want games to be too realistic :V

But one thing MC-War has that is non-existent in all other FPS games is the slowness effect you get when your'e aiming down the sights. It's pretty dumb in my opinion, and it gets you killed alot.

 

Now, let me answer a few of the points mentioned in this thread.

The bullets are moving so fast that they would at least knock you back a little. While you should be able to push out of the way of gunfire (with difficulty, but still), bullets are traveling faster than the speed of sound. They should be able to push you back a bit.

Generally, when you're aiming down sights, you move more slowly to stabilize your shot. While I believe there is too much slowness, it does resemble FPS games.

In my opinion, it is two choices.
1. Leave the knockback as it is.
2. Have no knockback whatsoever.

If a player had knockback, then the bullets in the plugin would push the player back. They wouldn't be able to move, since the bullets are causing events that push the player back a little. So if it's possible, it would be quite hard.

 

If you where shot 4 times in a row you would be dead meaning you wouldn't be moving at all...

 

If you didn't realize, this is Minecraft. To make it even less realistic, it's a Minecraft server based on COD. Exactly how is COD realistic when you can still run normally after getting shot by bullets everywhere?

But if I remember, you can still move a little when you are getting shot at so you could be able to evade the enemy's bullets if you are swift enough.

 

How is COD realistic when you are perfectly healthy 30 seconds after being shot 10 times? :L

 

You just stand behind a wall and the wounds magically heal. It's like the character you are playing is somehow related to Jesus.

 

Maybe everyone is playing as Jesus?

 

Wait are you saying that when you are playing and you are being shot by lets say a m16 that you can't move? That has never happened to me, I can get out of the line of fire maybe it is lag?

 

Everyone has Jesus powers in the COD games. How else would you be able to heal bullet wounds without having to move?

Games aren't supposed to be realistic.

 

If you had got four shots, no matter where on the body, you'll die for sure.
One bullet hurts like hell.
Three would knock you out.
Four would make you unable to run forward.

 

In real life, you would probably be "stunned" when shot, your basicly saying you want no knock back..... Op, so no.

 

I guess this idea would be pretty cool.
