    A list should be compiled blocking as many variations of the word as possible. You won't be able to get them all, but something like 'c@ke' should be blocked, simply because it's an obvious variation. I agree, the chat filter needs an upgrade.

    If it is really that much of an issue to you (or someone else), you can always go into your own Multiplayer Settings option and turn off chat, or use /war chat.
    It is very difficult for us to justify punishment for players swearing.

    I like the idea. people have absolutely NO respect for other people. i see the f-word used WAY too much.(nothing to block it either) please improve on this. You have my vote for yes.

    we are extra sensitive about language, and if i turn chat off, how will i know the map and gamemode

    there is no blood, and there is no swearing in the sounds of the resource pack i use, and the whole game is built around survival, hence the swords and bows, your arguement is invalid

    the plugin has not worked at all in the three months ive been playing. i get full on spellings, no spaces or symbols used.

    Uh...
    /war chat disables the ability to see normal chat messages from players. You can still see /tell messages and broadcasts.
    And that wouldn't help at all, as in this case, we want to talk in chat and see what others are saying, just blocking out swear words.

    Maybe a feature where you can enable/disable the censoring of swear words? :V
    I rather see a swear word than see **** :V

    that would require a whole new plugin, we need to just block the whole message, so they know not to swear, or else they would have to retype the message, and there are already plugins for that

    I'm talking about MC-war, not Minecraft in general. There are guns, and blood, and the IDEA of killing people as well.

    i do not see any blood, and most fps have the idea of killing people, my sisters play on pvp and tvt servers all the time, many minecraft servers have the idea of killing people.
