Map selection seems strange

    Does anyone else think that the system of choosing a map and gamemode is slightly off balance? There were times when I was playing, and one map would be say, plaza_ctf. Then the next map would be like, summit_ctf, then after that it would be back to plaza_tdm. It seems that it chooses some maps like plaza, summit, raid, grind, and warsong, way too much, Just today I played a map I havent played in over 3 months :confused: I think something is messed up.

    um.. the map selection system is 100 % random.... so... not sure why, maybe its just bad luck?

    I rarely play Grind unless it's Infect but I usually play on Downpour and Overgrown a lot. It would be great if we played more CTF and Infect.

    It's likely just a quirk with the randomizer. This problem will likely be eliminated in 2.0, with the addition of voting for maps only. Remember, this only happens once in a while, and isn't that big of a problem, unless it's two or more maps in a row, in which we can change the map.

    I wish I had some of dat tdm and ctf all I seem to get is infect ._.

    I once played warsong ctf, then warsong tdm... No one thought it could be any worse. THEN IT WAS WARSONG CTF AGAIN.

    Beat my 10 infects in a row.
    Happens to me all the time.
    This, this is why I hate infect.

    Yeah, I've experienced this before where I play the same map twice but with different gamemodes. Doesn't really bother me too much as long as the gamemodes are ones that you can nuke on.

    3 in a row isn't that bad... I've had 7 in a row... Everyone was spamming the chat, WHY SO MUCH INFECT? And stuff like that...

    I don't think the Randomizer can bug out. :stuck_out_tongue:

    It's probably just cus there's like 843843284238428 infected maps and only like 5 ctf maps

    i might've overexagerated a little there.

    I agree today it was Weird it was favela ctf 4 times today and carrier ctf once.

    Good point, it should pick gamemode then map instead of picking a random one.
