There are always spammers in the chat, some spam a lot, and others may be asking for something. Well, nonetheless, there are always people we wish we could mute, so we wouldn't have to see what the say all the time. I think there should be a /mute (player name) or /ignore (player name) I know about /war chat, but it would be very nice if we could mute select few, not just everyone. I have seen a /ignore and /mute on many many other servers and games, this function only makes sense.
Any one agree that they should add this?

We have this thread currently going on about ignoring players. If you wold like to continue to discuss this issue, go ahead and take it there please.
I completely agree an ignore system should be added, as it would cut down on those troublesome messages in the chat. Plus, it will make the chat cleaner for a user all together.
EDIT: Oh, and obviously you should not be able to mute staff.

Well we do have the option of reporting the spammer on the server. It only takes a few spam reports of one individual to get him/her banned from the server. However, there are people who I hate on the Mc-war and WarZ servers so I do agree with this idea.

Already been suggested as BBSlayer pointed out. However, I do like the idea of a /ignore immensely.

Btw, I'm terrible at finding threads, so do forgive me if I make threads that have been created in the past. ;S

THere is already a /war chat command to toggle the chat and anyone bugging you, and if they want to talk to you they may as well get skype.

This is about ignoring individual players not the entire chat
