Lag spikes

    So I was playing today and I noticed one thing right away: I could not do much. Chests were only opening half of the time, and my compass was always pointing in one direction, then would move around again, and do the same. Lag spikes were everywhere, and happening all the time. It is not a computer problem for me, because on all other servers I can play fine. Are these spikes because of the update or is it in fact a computer problem?

    Yes the servers was lagging a lot earlier on. Now it's fixed

    That's what happened to me too. I don't know why but all my compasses just frose instantly but I have experienced this before. It's probably being fixed right now.

    Yep, I'm still getting this lag on Mc-WarZ.
    Until it's fixed I won't be on. :frowning:

    Stop, the lag already plss.
    I just died on Mc-WarZ 1 in Full Diamond due to Combat Logging..
    Please stop the lag. :frowning:

    From what I've been told, this problem can happen when you're playing on an outdated version of Minecraft when a server is on the most current Minecraft version. Say for example, you are playing with 1.7.4 because Optifine hasn't updated to 1.7.5 and the servers are updated to 1.7.5.

    I believe it's a bug that can't be fixed because it has to do with Minecraft in general. The best solution is to play on 1.7.5 right now instead of 1.7.4.
