Take off Spawn protection when you log on

I totally agree, I couldn't get any shots on him when he logged in. It's unfair when they log in on you and you can't hit them, but they can hit you. It's a big advantage for them and I think it should be removed.

Well it works the other way too say if someone was camping in a room and the guy logs in and got shot straight aways that unfair so its good so that if someone is there he has a chance to log or run but you should'nt be able to shoot while in the "Protection"

 

I think it is necessary as without it, spawn camping would just increase massively and would be a big problem however, I do agree with what you are saying. In mu opinion it is only necessary for the first time you spawn after joining a new server or being killed. I do not think it is necessary after you have logged off and not died.

 

If I'm correct the protection after you log in isn't the plugin. It's minecraft in general, if you login on a survival minecraft server, for the first few seconds the server loads everything for that player and it's makes them invulnerable as it still loads them. So it's not as much a thing that the coders can fix, but more of a thing you have to deal with. Know this is just from me, I may be completely wrong but this is what I was told.

 

The spawn protection times: When you die/respawn: 7-10 seconds (Rough estimate) When you log in: 3-5 seconds. Therefore it is a bit OP but if you can dodge his or her bullets for the first 5 seconds, take cover or something, then you're good and you'll get more bang for your buck right there

 

Agreed. It's a bit aggravating when my internet goes on and off a lot and it gets me killed a LOT. So I agree with you @Woundwart
