Riot Shield

No. Absolutely no. A riotshield would completely shatter the game. Superarmor is already as bad as it is, and superarmor + riotshield would be incredibly annoying. The only way I could see this as being a viable item if it is changed- maybe it can absorb 5 skully shots then break. As it is right now, this idea is extremely overpowered.
Or it could stay as it is and replace your primary weapon.

 

From the first page it seems like a flame war might be happening. Maybe not, I do not know.

Riot Shield it a good idea, but needs a lot of information on making it fair for everybody.

 

Okay I think this should not be added due that every1 will use it and the game wont be fun

 

What the Hell?! Who in the name of Jesus wants a riot shielded person running up to them and knifing them?! Absolutely NO. stupidest thing I've seen no offense.

Wouldn't a retextured stone sword work? If you blocked with it, and had a riot shield texture for it, it actually looks quite good. Plus it would prevent it from being too OP, as you can still attack people from behind.

 

But it would also slow you down too.

 

Well, it's a large and heavy riot shield. It should slow you down. To counter it, there could be a plugin that increases player speed while blocking with the stone sword so that you move decently. Not the speed effect, just a speed boost. Like the one in Essentials. (/speed)

 

But the riot shield blocks the bullets in front of it.
When you block with a sword it doesn't do that, it blocks in a 360 degree angle.
A code should be put into that as well so it blocks like 100 degrees in the way it is facing

 

I didn't know it blocked everything, not just your front...
But a coder would be able to easily modify that, so we should be fine.
Still, a sword retextured as a riot shield looks good when you block with it. It looks kind of like an actual riot shield...

 

Yeah. It should also have a decreased durability like in the Call of Duty games

 

It should be an extra in your inventory, not replacing anything. And it should be in the donor shop with the grenads etc for $5 like the c-4. and it should have pretty high resistance. Also it can be bought in /war buy for 1000 creds

 

this makes it too OP seeing as he already said making it take out your knife balances it and a high resistance makes it no fun ( i still think a primary would suite best for this but oh well)
