Double tags

    If someone tags you, and someone quotes that thread you get 2 notifications saying that they tagged you, but really it's 1 thread. It's not a huge problem, but lets say after you woke up you got 10 "tags" but only 2 are actual tags. I would like this removed if it's possible.

    Most of us can relate to this problem so alerts that are about someone tagging you should be turned off as an option.

    That idea should be almost pointed towards staff, saying that they may be tagged in a thread for no reason whatsoever.

    Well the guy who's quoted some guy that as tag you can take off the @ and that's it

    Yeah, but I usually can work it out and realize I get tagged by the same person on the same thread.
    Not that big of a deal, but I would probably use it at sometime.

    I've had this problem my alerts box had over 100 alerts one time.
