Why Not?

It's a server that doesn't have much protection. It's meant for a few people to build, not a lot. The grief protection isn't that good in some areas.

 

They are connected, you just can't do /play or get to in while in the hub. You must actually connect to the server itself.

But once in the creative server you can do /hub and /play to get to other games

 

Because it isn't really a game that people play.
It is just a free open server for players to build on.

 

They should really work on fixing up the areas that aren't guarded very well and add better grief protection. Once they do that, they could make the creative server more public.

 

I think I read this from either Mr. O or Andy when I asked them in chat, but one of them said Creative was meant to be kinda small and not really made for a large crowd (this is paraphrasing, do not quote me as their exact words). Also I agree with what brawler said, if the protection is improved a bit I could see creative added to the hub. All in good time I guess.

 

You cant concentrate on your work if there's lots of people. And also creative server doesn't have much protection.

 

There's not enough protection.
Also, it has been griefed several times (plots, not the server), so you would have to deal with that.
