Mc-war lags WAY to much after the server host change.

    I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, or if another thread exists, so here. There has been so much lag on mc-war lately it is almost unplayable. EVERYONE complains about this, not just me. IT will be so bad sometimes, every 10 seconds the entire server will stop for a few seconds, then it will be fine, then 3 seconds later it lags again, then you die. It is very very bad, and especially bad after this new host change, which I thought would have a considerable performance change, which so far is a negative. If any of the mods/admins no of any other threads or comments that may be of use, thank you. BTW I have already seen a post from chickenputty mentioning investigating lag, but that was a day or two ago, and I have not heard anything since.

    This is something that is being worked on, please be patient as the servers are still being developed and we are fully aware that there is some issues with lag. Please just bare with us for the time being and it will hopefully be sorted by this time next week.

    The reason they are lagging is due to still moving the server files, be patient it will be fixed by time.

    Do not quote me on this, if I'm wrong can another Moderator/Admin correct me. I believe @BrawlerAce_ said Mc-Warfare is not on the new box currently. That may be why the server is lagging. That's what I've heard at least.

    If Signatured is right, then that's why it's lagging. Because of the latency between of where the new dedicated servers are located to where the old dedicated servers are located.

    That's old. I'm pretty sure it's on the new host now, but I'm not sure about it.

    This has been brought up before, but you would have to get the answer from a moderator or admin.

    My guess is because they are getting used to the new system.

    The only time Mc-war lags a lot is when the framerate drops harder than the bassdrop in Scary Monsters and Nice Sprittes by Skrillex the second I start recording with Fraps.

    The IP is the same as it usually is.

    To sum it up, we are using our new host. However, unlike before, we are using only ONE server box, and the amount of people is causing lag. Fortunately, the admins are working on getting some new boxes, so the lag should disappear when that happens.
