Thermobaric Grenades are tactical grenades featured in COD Ghosts. They are grenades that have a large explosion radius and ignore armor.

    Type: Tactical
Damage: 11 half-hearts/55% of the player's health (ignores armor and super armor)
Explosion Radius: Double the grenade explosion radius
    Throwing Range: Same as grenade
Detonate Time: Takes 1.5x more than the grenade to detonate
    Amount: 2 per life
    Item: Raw Beef
    Cost: $3

If you think it is too underpowered/overpowered, please tell me why!

    Thermobaric Pros
    • Large AOE
    Thermobaric Cons
    • Long fuse delay
    • Doesn't affect armor or superarmor
    • Only one per life

    Grenade Pros
    • Shorter fuse delay
    • Affects armor and superarmor
    • Two per life
    Grenade Cons
    • Smaller AOE
    Similarities
    • OSK
Seems well balanced out to me due to the fuse delay and the thermobarigrenade has more cons than the grenade (this distinguishes between thermobaric and grenade). However, I think this should be a lethal instead of a tactical considering it can OSK a large amount of players at a high radius.

The reason I decided to make it a tactical is to make it more similar to the one in Ghosts, but if enough people want it to be a lethal, than I'll change it.

Personally, I think there should be another grenade type that doesn't explode, like a molotov with higher damage.

Create a new thread containing statistics, price, lethal or tactical, etc.

Why create an entire new thread? It's not like OP cannot edit the original post.

I think he means that armor doesn't affect the damage that the grenade does :I

If you only have one per life, isn't this kind of useless? There's no point in using it if you don't get any kills from it. And you would only get kills if you're lucky. I would say make the damage 11-12 hearts and give the player two of these, as opposed to just one.

This, and make it per life. No one wants to donate for a tactical that you can only use once per life. Makes them kind of useless. I like the larger AOE but weaker damage, but I believe it should be per life.

Yeah, the damage done by the thermobaric grenade would be the same regardless of armor/superarmor.
Alright, I changed the damage and the amount your get per life. It was supposed to be used as a way to weaken a crowd of enemies, but I see your points that no one would donate for them if they only got one.

    Seems a bit strong.
1.5 is just adding half of the grenades' time, which isn't really adding a whole lot.

Just is kinda strong in my opinion

@spiritale suggested the idea. Not the thread creator. How is my post pointless?

I modified your stats a bit.
    Type: Tactical
Damage: 12 half-hearts/6 hearts(ignores armor and super armor)
    Explosion Radius: 5 blocks
    Throwing Range: 30 blocks
    Detonate Time: 5 seconds
    Amount: 2 per life
    Item: Raw Beef
    Cost: $3
These seem great for zombies, as Infected is a huge XP farm for the blues atm.

I just had a brilliant idea! Instead of dealing damage it would give a couple of seconds of weakness so it can't kill but it would have the same effect as dealing damage.

When you say 'weakness', do you mean that it would increase damage taken? That would be a pretty neat idea, but how would it work? There isn't an effect that increases damage taken, so we'd have to think of another way.

I already knew that. When I meant doesn't affect armor or superarmor, I meant it deals no damage to that user. :V
This seems kinda UP if you compare it to the OSK of the grenade.

    I take it that the current situation is one of the following;

First off, you don't know what a thread is. It's a conglomeration or list of posts under one title, the first post starting the discussion or topic. If you didn't know this, I am sorry, and this has been somewhat of a misunderstanding, and I will withdraw my prior rating of your post.
Secondly, you might be unaware of the current Forum Rules. Here, from the "forum rules" thread: "...Do not create duplicate / spam threads or thread ideas...". If you were unaware of the forum rules, check them out here.
