    Simple.
    :V and XD are common on the internet and are an easy way to express an emotion. The current ratings don't match these two and I think they would be a good addition.
    XD would be a positive rating
    :V would be a neutral rating

    Example of when it would be used:

    The guy called me a hacker and then I nuked him.
    +1 XD


    My first game without a ray gun, and a raygun noob killed me.
    +1 :V


    The addition couldn't hurt.

    Not really sure that we need any new ratings. I mean the ratings that we have currently can express the same feeling as these ones.

    If we're talking about post ratings, then no. Use "Like" for XD and nothing for :V since you can't express that as a rating.
    If we're talking about smiles, then maybe.

    As smileys, only XD.
    :V shouldn't become a smiley. Everyone will still use the text version, because everyone knows text smileys are better than forum smileys.

    I do not really see the point of this.
    There are already ratings, so what would be the point of xD and :V representing ratings.
