Moderator Training.

What server are you training for? - mc war

Why do you want to train for this type of server mod? - to help the players have a great time without hackers and mean people.

(Don't lie on this) Are you friendly, helpful, and active in-game? - im friendly most of the time, im sort of helpful and I go on every weekend I can!

Are you active on Teamspeak 3? - no

Do you have any skills in being a moderator in different servers? - no

What type of skills do you think that you should work on? - being more active and helping out more.

 

Alright so... I would kind of be a person to help on this kind of stuff. I was once a former mod, but not professional in any sort of way, and I have my way of doing a lot of things. Just cause I feel like it I'm going to reach out and give a few tips to people who need training. Here are a few tips:

• Are you sure you want to moderate your selected server?

It becomes a stressful job after a little while and you become more targeted to DDoSing and skill players. Some people become a whole new person when they get staff. It's usually for the worse.

• Make sure that you meet ALMOST all the requirements for mod.

Unless your application is truly impressive by all means, then you MUST meet all requirements. If your application isn't that good then you can't let age or forums activity slide. Teamspeak is a MUST with mod. It's the difference between +1 and +0 in most good mod apps.

• Are you mature enough to handle the position?

Our moderators must know how to kindly reply to players and newcomers who don't know how to play or know the rules. Also, they need to be mature and able to answer questions that a player has, and how to handle situations correctly.

• Do you think you can get the position?

Don't apply if you know you aren't as professional as our moderators and can moderate like them if not even better. If your application lacks a lot of detail, doesn't have correct grammar, doesn't meet the requirements, and is just not moderator quality, then you will get denied.

• Does the public like or dislike you?

If you don't have a good reputation and are nice & mature to players, then you won't get the job. Chickenputty is looking for moderators that the public like a lot and that are mature, up for the position, and reliable to take care of forum, teamspeak, and in-game situations. If you aren't really liked as a player, then you probably won't get mod.

Those are my tips guys! Hope they can help you! I'd actually like to "train" with Pikmin just to be the things you are going to give and what you got and if it is really good and enough to train future mods.

 

I have been told that I would be a good moderator and I should try. I do not necessarily ask for training, but if I were to try for a server, what are my chances 1/10.
(As of right now I have no interest in becoming a moderator anytime soon)
