End of the World Brawl

Hey guys,

Today I was playing WarZ, like the usual, and I was reminded by my friend that the map was being reset. I heard rumors that it should be soon, but I don't know if that's true at all. I'm posting this now so people can help come up with ideas for this event, ask any questions, and also to give the staff some time to sort this out and plan it if they would also agree for this to take place. Anyways I was thinking that maybe the Admins/Mods would be able to come up with a fun and eventful ending to this map we're currently playing on. An event that could show all the skill everyone has acquired thought their time on this map. I was thinking we could go about this 1 of 2 ways;

1) Tournament Mode:

- How the Tournament Would Work: Throughout the tournament, on each separate server, it would always be one round elimination. The person who wins moves on, the loser is eliminated. For example; if I beat GreenPeas_ and chickenputty beat Mrcowlick during the first round, I would then be up against chickenputty for my next match. We would continue the battles until we have only two people standing, then we would have the championship round at a random location anywhere on the map, including "noob town". To help speed up the tournament process, if there is an abundance of applicants, we could have multiple battles on each server at a time. Have people fight at nether, snow, west airfield, east airfield, electro, and maybe even noob town. After you finish your round and have won, you may loot their body and keep the stuff you used for the next round, and so on and so fourth. If you start to run out of ammo, I would consider you loot before your next battle so you can be prepared!

- Selection Process: We would have a forum post for everyone who wants to participate in this event to comment their in game name and which server(s) they want to participate in. There will be different threads for each server for you to post in. The forum thread will only be open for a certain amount of time, so make sure you keep your eye on what's happening. *Note: You can participate in as many as you wish* After all the submissions are in we would lock the thread - to determine the brackets and what seed people are in we would input the total number of people that commented (let's say 40 people entered/commented in the forum for the tournament) into a random number generator online and establish it to pick between numbers 1-40 since only 40 people wanted to join. Your number would be given to you depending on when you posted in the forum post; for example if I was the 28th person to submit my post requesting a spot in the tournament I would be given the number 28. When the random generator picks the first number - let's say it picked 28 - then I would be in the first seed, after it picks 28 we randomly generate another number. This time it picked 8 and since GreenPeas_ was the 8th person to post in the forum, I would be up against GreenPeas_ in the first round. We would have a whole bracket system set-up, so since GreenPeas_ and I were the first two to be picked, we would be the first bracket. After, the second bracket would be chosen by randomly generating a third number, 12. The 12th person to post was chickenputty so he would go up against the next number chosen, 37. The 37th post was Mrcowlick, so they would fight 1v1 and so forth.
*Note: There will be a live stream or recording posted online of the bracket selections so everyone can witness it truly is random and not made up at all*

- Tournament Rules and Regulations: To be eligible to compete in the tournament you would be required to post in the thread or else you can NOT join. During the fight, we would have a staff member be flying around watching to ensure that the fight is 100% fair and the players are playing legitimately. Players would be given boundaries so that they couldn't run away from the fight and keep running; if they refuse to listen, they would be disqualified.
Main Rules:
- No Exploiting and Glitches
- No hacking
- No "time-outs" during fights
- No re-doing fights due to "lag"
- No macros
- No booting people
off/DDoSing.
- No running out of bounds; if you happen to do so you WILL be disqualified
- You may grab what you want out of your echest, if you have one, before the battle
- Please no raging; Cursing if you lost, spamming chat, screaming if in teamspeak.
- If you lose, accept the loss like a mature person.

2) All-Out Brawl Mode:

- How All-Out Brawl Would Work: You would be placed in a group; minimum amount of 5 and maximum amount of 9 depending at the place you are chosen to fight in. Known areas most people would fight in would be the Nether (group of 9), Snow (group of 7), W. Airfield (group of 9), E. Airfield (group of 9), Electro (group of 9), Alcatraz (group of 6), and the prison (group of 5). It would be last man standing is the winner. Final brawl would be consisted of the winners from the previous brawls.

- Selection Process: Signing up and the group selections will be the same as the tournament. Everything will be randomized like always to ensure a fair chance for all. You will be placed in a group of 5-9 depending on the area of the map you are forced to have the brawl in.

- All-Out Brawl Rules and Regulations: To be eligible to compete in the tournament you would be required to post in the thread or else you can NOT join. During the fight, we would have a staff member be flying around watching to ensure that the fight is 100% fair and the players are playing legitimately. Players would be given boundaries so that they couldn't run away from the fight and keep running; if they refuse to listen, they would be disqualified. There is no "teaming" or "truces" allowed during the brawl, if you are caught doing so you will me disqualified.

Tell me what you guys all think! It's just a rough draft of the "End of the World Brawl", so it is possible that there will be flaws. Comment if you have any questions, new ideas, or if you see that there is a problem so we can come up with a solution. Like I said it's only a rough draft so there could be some drastic changes if needed/wanted.

I'm aware of that, just putting it in there since it is also a rule for the games and also just an emphasis on what not allowed.

 

I would like for this to be run by the staff for it would require someone to fly around and watch the fight happen to ensure it truly was a fair fight. I would be more than happy to help set up anything that is within my level of clearance. You wouldn't lose anything playing in the tournament because the world is at an "end" when this would take place, remember they're are resetting the whole map. I don't see why you wouldn't want to take your chance at this great opportunity, but it's still your choice wether or not you want to participate. Regarding the prize; I was thinking of letting the winner get an extra "boost" on the new map by letting them spawn in with an MP5, a stack of ammo, and half a stack of beans on the server they were crowned the "champion". I could see how people would find that "unfair", but if you have any other suggestions for what the winner should receive feel free to comment your thoughts. Obviously the winner would also get major bragging rights for winning it all.
