Change the gun blocks

It will be fixed when minecraft updates to 1.8 .

 

I think we are all aware of this "glitch". There really isn't a way to prevent it, all I can tell you to do is not break a block. What I do to prevent this from happening is simply move your mouse up and click in the air, other than that I can't help you.

 

In the mc update you will have to give certain tools certain permissions to break certain blocks :v If they just set it to air, then this will be fixed :v

Yes it's a bit of a annoying thing but as sated above:

The issue will be fixed thx to the all mighty coding powers of Mojang.

As @whitemagnum and @Gynamo said above, 1.8 will change Adventure Mode, which will eliminate any type of glitching.

Let me elaborate on the points above. The tools look a certain way. Here are some screenshots.


The first one obviously looks more like a gun, because I'm holding it like one. The second one is weird, and it's scaled down as well.

 

That's exactly what I do. It's a good method, especially if your hiding behind a barrier of some sort.

This isn't really a glitch or bug, but it is pretty annoying.
I am sure if they wanted to fix it, it would have been fixed already. (or in the next update)

 

Another way to deal with it until 1.8 is to hold your sword or have nothing in your hands when you want to unscope. Because you aren't holding a gun, it will remove the scoping effect. That's useful when you don't want to risk breaking a block, and I've gotten used to that.
