    So I've been seeing a lot of people complain about the cbow being really op for no reload, yes it's donor gun and it has a one shot kill unless you're in armor. But, people can spam it really really fast which is pretty op in small areas. The problem with spamming the cbow is that people can just sit there and spam without reloading and barely taking a risk, and they can shoot over their teammates or walls giving them cover and hardly ever dying, it is easy to kill the cbow user if seen out in the open or use a AoE item.
    But lets go onto discussing the nerfs:

    C-Bow nerf 1#: A 1.5 second reload timer.

    C-Bow nerf 2#: A 2.0 second reload timer.

    C-bow nerf 3#: A 2.5 second reload timer.

    All of them have the same type of Pros and Cons:
    • Pros: Will help stop causing the amount of spam coming from the cbow yet give a nice balancing nerf to it so enemies that are facing the cbow user can have a chance to kill him/her. The cbow will have to take more skill instead of spamming it in a small area. It will stop the lag from explosions by a little and your fps won't die when its being spammed.
    • Cons: People won't be able to spam it. No constant nuking by spamming it. Won't be fun to use anymore.
    If you got any comments or suggestions, please comment on what you think about this.
    And please do not point out any names in this thread about them using the cbow so many times, if you fail to do so, your comment will be edited before it can start a flame war.

    Neow.
    It should be give it a 3 round clip with 2.5 second reload but you don't have to pull back the bow.

    I would say Choice 1 or 2. I agree with this as Crossbows are equally as powerful and overused as the ray gun.

    I remember the cbow in War-Z which has a 3 ammo clip with a reload. A 3 ammo clip with a reload can be really balanced.

    It is quite annoying cbow spammers, I do think they should put some clip or reload time into it, it would reduce and virtually eliminate "cbow spamming".

    No need to tag, just report it.

    This idea actually spunfs interesting. It puts some actual skill in the weapon, and the effect is all the more satisfying as a result.

    I probably should of put in the thread: "By nerfing the cbow (insert nerf here), it'll make the weapon actually skillful instead of just getting a nuke without even barely moving from one area to the next. And it'll feel like a fun nuke to get when its not being such a try-hard type of weapon. Considering that the weapon already does a one shot on contact with the person, it shouldn't be that op with a spammy type."
    It'll be fun to see what type of nerf would happen. I would like to see it nerfed so that it'll be fun and satisfying to get a kill.

    Off topic: lol putty should make a section called "Cbow complaints" right under server ideas.
    On topic: People pay for a good gun, and it is part of the game. I don't want to sounds harsh but this is once of those things that you just have to deal with.

    Note: I do in fact have Cbow but I hardly use it, and yes I have nuked on Cbow spam before. I am not writing this to keep nuking on Cbow spam (like I said I don't use it much) I just think this is the honest truth

    I think it should get nerf 1. Irl, the standard crossbow takes 20 seconds to reload each bolt. 2 seconds seems like a fair deal because it isn't that long of a reload when you think of the Skullcrusher and Iso.

    The cbow is just too op, from the fact that you can get one shotted when you get hit by the arrow and its AoE and you can spam it without ever reloading. That is insanely op.

    People pay for it, I think that's what they should get, maybe they should raise the price of it?
    By the way do you even have the cross bow?

    Yes, it is a donator gun but it's just way too op.
    And yes I do have the cbow but I rarely even use it.

    Yeah, but look at the LAW. It's a donor weapon and many players paid for it. Now it's not even as close to great as it used to be.

    Well then one could argue that the minigun or the raygun is too op, I don't want to start a firefight so let's agree to disagree.

    It doesn't have to be nerfed too much, like the LAW was. The crossbow is insanely OP. 6 killstreak from one arrow is a little OP, is it not? And you can spam the arrows, too.

    All I really want for the cbow is for like a reload nerf, that's basically it. A nerf would have to make the player be more careful instead of spamming it and getting free kills.

    The C-Bow as already been buffed in the small update that came out a few days ago.
