Bug Server went down whilst it's up

The servers are currently offline right now. Be patient for now, maybe they are doing something with the network. Or it might be your internet.

 

Oh, this probably has to do with your internet or your minecraft contact Mojang if this is happening with other servers. But for now on mc-war it wasn't happening with me so maybe your internet or minecraft.

I have been noticing this a lot too. Here's what I'm thinking. Don't take my word on this.
When the server (or you) lags, sometimes the lag is just too much. The server sees that you've almost completely lost connection, and then assumes that the server is down, thus connecting you to the lobby.

 

Yesterday on Team Speak, Yinscape was chatting about how to fix the lag, and cut the amount of lag in half! He said it'd take a few servers to go down some, and the lag was reduced some.

This is happened to be a few times, which is indeed, very annoying. It did that to me on a good match or CTF, but I died and teleported there.
Although this thread states to be similar to the thread by MastroZappa, here, yours, Gynamo, has much more information about the bug, and we can most likely fix this. "Hopefully."

Yea, this happened to me a few times yesterday while playing minecraftparty. I thought it was just my crappy internet connection but I guess not.

 

I got this twice today, and many more times in the past. I can confirm that this does happen. I wonder what is causing the problem. I do not even lag when it says that, game play is fluent then I disconnect. Really odd if you ask me.

 

This hasn't happened to me yet ( I don't think), saying that I quit MC-War temporarily due to the high amounts of lag that are within the War servers. In the past this has happened to me, although it was with the old host, and usually just a connection problem with me and that server.

 

Here is the error message, just happened. I was playing on war server 2, it was wmf infect, and the game started. There was no lag, I was making my way to my spot, and then I lagged out. The server was still playing as well.
