Does a map have to be a remake of a cod map? Or can it be original?

    I was thinking of making a map, but does it have to be a remake of a cod map or can it be an original design? Thx

    Remakes of COD maps have a better chance of being accepted. That being said, the admins still do accept custom maps. However, they have to be VERY well done. Good luck in making your map, I hope to see what you choose to do!

    It can be original to a degree, I'd at least remake one from a game

    It doesn't have to be a CoD map, but the chances are very slim of it being accepted.

    No, it does not need to be a remake of a map, but if it isn't it must be very detailed to get accepted.

    It can be original, but most of the accepted maps are remakes.

    Yes, but putty said it has to be very detailed to get accepted if it is not a remake.

    Both can be accepted, however CoD maps have more chance to be accepted. The percentage does like:
    70% CoD Remake
    25% FPS Shooter Remaker
    5% Custom Map.
    Usually Custom maps have to be very detailed, reasonably sized and generally good to play in.
    Question answered, therefore requesting lock.

    In the maps we have I don't believe grass blocks touch dirt so i don't know, if you can't figure it out ask in the Q n A section

    The administrators accept most of the time CoD remake maps but you can still create an original one but it will have a less chance of being accepted unless they of course really like it.

    It can be accepted if it's extremely good and detailed, but in the next time remember to post your questions in the QnA section or pm a mod. Making a whole thread is a bit unnecessary :V

    Not really, void isn't a cod map. Neither is that Valhalla or whatever nor Halo Outpost
