Idea Area Restrictions on TPA

    I believe this could work. It would make tpa's less op, and not allow what you have described (about just getting stacked from teammates)

    YES, too many times have i been 1/2 or 3/4 diamond and 2 half diamonds pinn me down in a building so i kill one of them and he just tp's back gets his stuff back and kills me. limiting tp's would be great.

    I will always stand up to say tpa is OP. Just today me and my buddy were fighting in snow. We got cornered between 2 different groups. Killed half the first group, the other half ran, so we moved on to the second group. Same thing happened. We saw that the first group had come back, regrouped from tpas and we had to attack them again. This went on for about 15 minutes- just running around in circles trying to kill everyone. Eventually my buddy died (and oh how great it would have been if he could have just jumped back in battle like all them) and I died shortly after. I kid you not when I say he and I got at least 10 combined kills there, however; we died once, so we were the losers. I doubt anything will change though. Staff likes their money and donators, well thats the only reason donors are any good at the game.
    Back to the actual post,
    1) I think tpa around boarders of a town is pointless, because all these dudes are probably on Skype or something chatting and they can just say where to go (or they just have a map), plus what about fights not in towns?
    2) I think the death countdown is an affective idea, but I doubt donators will take well to it.
    3) To the homie that said you cant find anyone thats never donated in full diamond - youre wrong. For about 10 minutes today I had diamond armor, but I was eventually killed by a bunch of hippies that kept tpaing back (see above).
    4) As to all the talk about donating to win and stuff, thats pretty much what it is. No one donates because they like a server or so they can tpa to their friends for fun - they do it for the perks that help them win (which is also why half the donators on here suck; they had to donate to get where they are). But hey, I woulda donated too if it were cheaper and didnt have time restrictions.

    That's the main reason for? MVP with the restrictions then not man you people will buy MVP, meaning Multi player servers will loose money

    ok yes, i know this a a (big) gravedig, but hear me out. This is a GREAT idea, and im thinking of something like When your in combat, a friend can not tpa. sound fair enough?

    Honestly if I was in charge of WarZ there would be no TPAs. Period. It's unrealistic, makes this game far too easy for donators and more difficult for non-donators. This is based on a survival horror game, when you die, you die. There are other, more balanced perks that could be given to people who donate. For example, they could start with more food, or start with a free compass.

    Also, dat gravedig.

    Well I would see no point in donating then if teleporting abilities were restricted like that, if your enemies keep tping back then rush use strategical thinking destroy them at the source if you want to end the fight faster.

    Yes. but people did pay real money for it. They kind of deserve to be able to TPA. If TPAs were removed, no one would donate for MVP.

    That would be way to UP for people who pay for MVP. Really, who needs compasses in NoobTown? Once you get to neth or snow, you probably will have gotten a compass anyways....

    Hmmmm, I have an idea that may solve the entire problem.

    How about if there is an enemy within 50 blocks of the tpa'er or the tpa'ed-to then you can't tp. This would solve the problem of tp'ing back in a fight, and say you win a battle, but your friend died, then they can tp back for their stuff, no harm done :smile:. This would prevent tpa abusing and also will fairly balance tpa's

    You can still teleport straight to your friends in zone 6, it's not like that has changed. And it's not like this affects echest usage.

    That would ruin TPAing as well.
    People often Tpa to get AWAY from a fight, not necessarily back INTO one. also, 50 blocks is a pretty big range. This would equal no more TPAing in NoobTown.
    EDIT***
    It used to be that you couldn't TPA while in combat. That works fine now. Like if you try to TPA while in combat it sill uses your PTA attempt, so it would equal 2 minutes until you could TPA again. Or maybe the other person couldn't be in combat.

    It was just a suggestion. A compass is a bit useless I agree. I was just saying there are other things we can give MVPs besides free extra lives as long as they have a friend playing with them.

    I thought about the no tpa'ing in noobtown too, so maybe you can't tpa out/in with an enemy within 25 blocks, but if it is under Zone 3, you can?

    I mean, tpa'ing out of a fight is just as unfair... Say someone decides to grab a barret from end, realizes they are hopelessly outmatched, and tp's away? Not exactly fair, don't you say? You are basically robbing the attacker of a barret... which is pretty annoying....

    Or you're robbing them of a death.
    MVPs paid for the ability to have more freedom to do what they want; let them at least TPA out of a fight.
