Donating, chargeback, fake ban

    So today, me, brawlerace, and gamerguyhd got banned because a girl donated to us, and then charged back which resulted in us getting banned (and her 19 times :v) But anyways i have a solution for this. Everytime someone joins the server it locates their ip and saves in the file with the stats and stuff. And when someone donates for a item it also says in that file. Now to the important part: If someone charges back it will also take that ip and check the other ip's and if it dosen't match the ip of the player it will ban the ip that charged the item. And if it does match, it bans the player v:

    I like the idea. This will solve the problem of people attempting to ban others.

    This is a great idea. And needed badly now that everyone on the forums knows how to ban someone... Also, I find this story very funny. Were you in game when you were banned?

    I agree with this. This would definitely help with the case of charge backs. +1 from me!

    You could buy every rank with a proxy then chargeback it all.

    Well when you enter the shop you enter your name right ? The girl entered your names so the console of the buycraft is server is thinking that you are using the shop since it's your name and you are registered with your ip on it. I guess somehow she must have done something wrong in the transaction making it look like a fraud of some sort

    No, right now it dosen't check the ip, just the name and that's why we got banned. I want it to actually check the ip to prevent stuff like this from happening again .-.

    Yes that would be a good thing but that means that people can't donate for you anymore because they won't have the correct ip that you're minecraft account registered with :/

    As i said in the first post they can donate, but it registers in their ip so if they try something funny they get banned for it

    Wow, I cannot believe this happened! I really think your idea is good, because someone could easily ban anyone! +1: great idea!

    I like this idea. Not everyone can call on an admin or super mod to unban them. But if the player had a proxy, as Grey said, it would be annoying and hard to catch them.

    The rare amount of times that someone purchases an item for someone just with the intention on charging back is very low. I'd rather deal with the issue when it happens (like I did your sitation) then take up a coder's time with hooking into Buycraft and all that. As GreySwordz was saying you could just swap your IPs around before and after purchasing. I just don't see the overall benefit.

    And if they abuse it they will just be banned.

    It's complete fraud too.
