Clan Tag Overhaul

    With the current clan system, clan names can have only 4 characters at most. This, in my opinion, is a problem.

    My proposed fix: When creating a clan, instead of:
    /clan create <name>
    You use:
    /clan create <tag> <name>
    Where <tag> is the tag of clan members. Much more effective, in my opinion.
    Then, to see a clan name, you type /clan info <clan>.
    All clan notification messages will also use the name instead of the tag. Instead of:
    JOINED EST!
    It would say:
    JOINED Elite Sniper Team!

    Simple enough?

    Simple yes, effective? Yes. I'd like to see longer clan names, it would give more options to the user creating the clan.

    Good idea but sometimes people just choose a random name that has nothing to do with anything. Although I do like this idea and I feel you got it from factions as you know, when people walk into a territory. Other than that it is a good idea and I support it :3

    It would be interesting because I fell like it would add more info into what type of clan it is. Like I would like to add that if they could modify it to where you can actually type in a bunch of information about your clan. Just a suggestion.

    Yeah good idea. Maybe it would help, if the tags from death clans were available again?!
    But this idea with tag and name is pretty cool...

    I also would like to have a tag system in the more conventional sense.

    Like idea (a)
    (this is what chat would look like)
    Eris Krcoon <Owner>: blah blah blah whatever i typed
    Eris Player1 <Moderator>: blah blah blah
    Eris Player2 <Member>: blah
    (tag is the clan position)

    Idea (b)
    Eris Krcoon <IWillNukeYou>: blah blah blah whatever i typed
    Eris Player1 <CustomPhrase>: blah blah blah
    Eris Player2 <CatchyMotto>: blah
    (Custom tags)

    Either one works, or if you would like you can make custom tags a donor thing *just an idea* I've seen other servers do it...
    Yeah Like a clan introduction Paragraph or sentence or something, maybe a bit that shows the clan req's as well...

    This is actually a really good clan suggestion. I would like to have a clan name that is long, but a tag that is short. When you type /clan info {name}, you should be able to do the actual name or just the tag. Overall, a great idea!
