Idea split class: auto, into smg, assault rifle and Lmg

    Just a simple suggestion. This auto class split into smg and assualt rifle, and a new one Smg. I have filled the gaps with new guns, but fill free to suggest some. I know some tier 1's might be too op fore their zone. But perhaps tier 1 assault rifles and lmgs can appear like snipers, so you don't find them in noobtowns. I've put fire rates/capacity based on wikipedia, and yes, i've edited the values of existing weapons to help accommodate the new ones.

    name: the name of the weapon
    tier: the tier
    shooting: how the gun shoots bullets
    fire rate: the fire rate relative to other weapon
    capacity: how many bullets the gun can hold at once
    reload time: how long it takes to reload
    damage: the damage relative to other guns
    accuracy: the accuracy out of 10

    ASSAULT RIFLES

    M16A2: Your standard automatic rifle. Moderate fire rate and damage:
    tier: 1
    shooting: 3 round bursts
    fire rate: 7 (average of every shot in burst, not from the start of each burst)
    capacity: 30
    damage: 6
    reload time: 3s
    accuracy: 6

    Ak-47: a basic ak
    tier: 2

    So you want 12 different types of automatic machine guns firing at you?

    Please add extra info, like fire rate, mag size, reload time, ammunition type and perhaps, images. They will add a new weapon system in WarZ, but new guns won't arrive more likely. If you are new to the server, we already have M16, Ak, MP5, P90.

    I think this would be good honestly. There is a planned update on the way and adding a big variety of guns would be interesting. They would have to be balanced of course but instead of everyone at nether having an ak, if some had other tier 4 guns I think it would change the game style a bit.

    I think it would be nice to add a couple new guns, and I like the idea, but 12? And that's just automatics...

    Automatics does cover a broad range of firearms.
    No, smgs and assualt rifles aren't machine guns, they're completely different.
    True, maybe lmgs are a bit to much.
    I've kept the guns that the server already has, wouldn't want devs to replace completely fine guns.

    They're what the stereotype of machine guns are. They are the same, in essence. Also, don't double post if you can avoid it

    Well, I was wondering what slowness users get.
    Like would the minigun have slowness 3? And after they switch weapons, does it go away?

    I am going to assume the Thompson and P90 as automatics too?

    But other than those minor things it seems okay to me.

    I personally think the suggestions look fine. 12 guns really isn't too many, I would love it if WarZ had 50 guns. More guns= more variety = more fun. It would also make team play more interesting. One team member could be a heavy class, and carry a LMG, while other team members could carry Assault rifles and SMGs. My only complaint is that the reload times seem to be way too long. Look at a clock, and see how long 5 seconds really is. The current reload is more like 2 or 3 seconds.
    Also, attached are some image ideas for the new guns.
    The files are normal minecraft picture size though.
    Most of the pics are from flans mod, the rest were made by me.
    The RPD image is an idea for the RPK.
