    Forums Upgrade & Other Changes​

    As you may know, the forums were offline for around two hours today while I did some backend things. I'm here to present to you the changes! Wooo... yay...

    ~~~~

    Xenforo has been updated to v1.3

    New user features:
    • Editor toolbar adjustments
      • Small rearrangement of a few icons.
    • [ SPOILER ] BB Code
      • Allows for creation hiding content in a button.
    • Profile Post and Comment Tagging
      • Allows for tagging in profile posts and comments. @{name}

    New addons and updates

    New:
    User Essentials
    Allows for users to add and edit polls after their threads have been created. Adds some extra little features that I'll setup here shortly.

    Conversation Essentials
    Rehauls Xenforo's messaging system. You guys have been wanting, and needing, something like this for awhile now. Some of the main features are kicking members from a conversation and editing messages.

    Moderator Essentials
    No features for regular users

    XenCarta (Wiki)
    We plan to get the wiki setup within this week. Staff will have access to get everything setup beforehand. We hope to cover all the features of our servers to help any newbies out! If you have any suggestions before we start feel free to leave them in this thread.

    Updated: Post Ratings, Similar Threads, Double Post, and Tapatalk
    Sadly, no new user features in these updates.

    Awesome! Spoilers are great! I like the fact that you can edit polls after the thread has been made. :smile:

    The main issue is that we can't edit or delete posts made prior to the update. Very annoying for resource pack makers. Other than that, nice.

    I really hope only staff members will be able to edit the wiki because than there might be a random user who decides to edit in a ton of spam into a page.

    But yeah, I already knew a lot of these features before this thread because I decided to look into the Xenforo 1.3 release page myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

    When you comment on another person's profile post, tagging a member, the tagged member will receive a notification saying that they were tagged by the person who first wrote the profile post. For instance, GreySwordz updated his status. I commented on it, tagging Majora_Jora. He received a notification saying that GreySwordz tagged him, even though I did.
