    The Intros and Outros section is meant for serious introductions and farewells to the server. Honestly, an outro thread saying "I'll be gone for 2 weeks" is not an outro. It should honestly go in off topic.
    An introduction is to introduce yourself to the server, tell everyone who you are. It's not there to say "Hey, I returned from my 3 day camping trip!" Same thing with outros, it means you are permanently leaving (or leaving for a very long time).
    To clean up the Intros and Outros section, there should be a separate forums section for people leaving for a short time or returning after that short trip.
    Or they could be moved to off topic :v

    This^. They should just be completely moved to Off Topic. Honestly, if your going away for a week, you don't need to make an outro :v I get that you want people to know that you're gone, but they can see it in Off Topic as well. And making an intro simply saying "I'm back from my week trip" is just a waste of space in the Intros/Outros section. This is a great idea.

    But there's also the possibility to have the thread set to away :/ so it will show that you're going for not too long. I personally think this forum section is quite clean

    Well, you do not need to make a thread saying how you are coming back in a few days.
    Maybe if there were sub sections or something?
    One of intros, one for outros, and one for away.
