    Before I start off this thread, let me just say that this is both a rant on Mc-war and how I see the server as well. It's kinda like what Tac did except I'm trying not to offend anyone who plays the server like I used to nor am I specifically criticizing anyone in the thread.

    To skip all of this, just read the summary that is located between the two squiggly lines.

    I first joined Mc-war a year ago in March when I was introduced towards it by my friend. When I first joined the server, it looked like this: http://imgur.com/OHDMB62

    The picture obviously reveals the previous spawn with really nostalgic stuff but what most of you don't know is what else there is besides that. Before that, we had old maps, not so powerful weapons, and other stuff like that but this is mainly about the players of Mc-war.

    First off, donors. I understand it. The server needs money to run right? Do people get more appeal of Mc-war when they donate for weapons that ruin the joy of others as well? Of course.

    Let me use myself as an example here. I have never donated to the server yet I have Scavenger and the Minifun. I got these two items from forum giveaways hosted by Ryansburgers and Schoolkid. Have any of you ever seen someone overusing a Minigun on an Mc-war server?

    How about Infect? Have you ever seen some guy killing off zombies with a Minigun in every game of Infect? No. People have Ray Guns and Crossbows for themselves but do you ever see a Minigun wielding player? You have once or twice but you wouldn't anymore unless it's FFA. Just for a few more examples, how many Crossbow users have you seen in a game of Plaza_CTF or how many Ray Gun users have you seen in Aftermath_Infect? At least 2 in my guess.

    There are 3 donor weapons I will discuss in this part of the rant. Law, Ray Gun, and Crossbow. What do these weapons have in common?

    They explode and when they are explosive, what does it mean? The owner of that weapon can just camp and kill off other players effortlessly. See what I mean? On Infect, you see people camping in the most unfair spots in the map because they are using explosive donor weapons. Furthermore, zombies can easily infect anyone in less than a second by using the C4s they DONATED for.

    And then someone comes up with the term "Iso Noob" right after the Law was nerfed and before that, "Law Noob" was said in the chat a numerous amount of times. It's just astonishing how people use the term Iso Noob when they use Skullcrushers and those donor weapons they have in their arsenal. Speaking of the Skull, for some reason have I stopped using that weapon along with other automatics in Mc-war. The only automatics I ever use is the Minifun and all non-donor automatics but the Skull. I wouldn't mind it if people used snipers like the Iso or shotguns like the Moddel because at least they aren't as powerful as the Crossbow which I rarely see the term "Cbow Noob".

    And grenades, I'm definitely okay with grenades since they take like 3-4 seconds to detonate which is fair to me during games of Infect unlike C4s.

    Since there are people who constantly use the Crossbow (not just kjhgamer and Devin) and most of them use the term Iso Noob numerous amounts of times, it just baffles me how the 3 donor weapons we have now are rarely used with the word Noob. Why? Because almost every 31+ player OWNS donor weapons. I do own the Minifun and I only use it in Infect but it's not even half as effective as the Ray Gun in terms of range, accuracy, etc.

    Overall, players using explosive donor weapons should be the noobs and the people who don't own any donor weapons should be considered the ones with skill since it doesn't take any effort to aim with a Law or a Ray Gun because you don't HAVE to aim with them. Watch me get 5th on most negative ratings of the forums after posting this thread.

    Since every server with 30+ players have at least one VIP or MVP in it, it's nowhere close to being possible to play anything if they have everything they can buy without their own skill or using their own time in the server to actually earn it.

    And the beggars. Those kids who are "desperate" to get anything. I'm not talking about Mc-war itself or even Minecraft but I could be saying other games as well. I'm not getting into this part of the rant too deep but before Mc-war, I played RotMG which some of you recognize and there are far more beggars too lazy to play the game to get the **** they need. Anyways, back to Mc-war.

    If donors keep picking off the inexperienced noobies on the server, where else would we be getting donations from new players to hold up the server? And it doesn't help either that none of those weapons are getting nerfed since the update didn't come for the past 7-8 months. Furthermore, where else would we be getting ANYONE to play on our servers if donors are bullying younger, inexperienced players in the game?

    I think I made my point about donations so here's my next part. Clans.

    Clans don't seem necessary to me. They're just little groups to bond players together from what I'm assuming. That's just bull**** nowadays. To whoever owns a clan and is reading this, I hope you get my message but please don't take my opinion far beyond the limits. I hate just about every clan in the server.

    Since many people make their own clans like DawZ and Axez, I personally think clans based on skill is just making their own clan look stupid because does it really make you look good when you are cussing out hacks in chat with a Feyz tag next to your name?

    Overall, this is why I like to invite mature players who can handle themselves pretty well into MKF while I ignore their skill. I know Daniel wouldn't approve of it but it's how I see a good clan. Most of you would say both skill and maturity makes a good clan member but I put maturity before skill.

    Unfortunately, most clans have donors as well who are most likely to ruin the reputation of the server.

    However, there are some clans I do appreciate. Unfortunately, those are so old that only a few of you will
    actually recognize them (COO, TRU, Gunz). To this day, I'm fine with playing against old clans like
    HACK but I don't see those members as much as I do see what we have now. I'm sure that a lot of you
    are in Feyz or Axez but just take this lightly because it's a rant. For those of you who think I'm being
    biased by not mentioning MKF as one of the more "recent" clans, here's a screenshot I took last May to prove it
    which was also during the time I was level 46:
    http://imgur.com/0grAoBt

    And my last part, the players themselves. Before the server drastically changed in July of last year, you wouldn't see at least 3 yellow nametags near the names of the players in chat. 31+ means nothing to this day. It either means you played long enough on the server to prove how much you like it or how much you have donated to get yourself that rank. If you want to show yourself a "good" player then at least act like one. This is why I only invite the more mature players into MKF because at least they wouldn't mess up their reputation and OUR clan reputations.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    After explaining all of this stuff, I have one last thing to say. I'm starting to hate Mc-war.
    The 31+ players, the donors especially the ones who boast about their "skills" in the server, the stupid clans, the server hosts, and nothing good from all of this.
    However, there are some things that are keeping me from leaving the server.
    1. My friends - Especially the people in Stuff and the forum members, my friends who have their own interests in the server are mainly why I want to stay here.
    2. My Youtube channel - Though I started it 2 weeks ago, I never knew how fast it could grow and how many people could actually enjoy my content in my videos. Mostly for you forum members, I want to keep my strong reputation and live my name of the greatest entertainer by publicly releasing my Youtube videos to the forums.
    3. The McBrawl forums - There are tons of forum members who I like and forum members who find what I do appealing whether it's Youtube, the servers, or even on a forum thread. I just like browsing the forums because I treat it like a social media website since I don't have a Facebook or anything. If I did leave Mc-war, I don't know what the forums could be if I weren't there to post unhelpful responses to pointless threads like Lag in Mc-war and whatever else there is on the forums.
    4. My Mc-war Inventory: There are 2 donor items I have throughout my time in Mc-war: Scavenger and the Minigun which I have decided to rename as Minifun a week ago. I received Scavenger on the day of my birthday when a week before that, Joeymast99 won a contest that was held by Schoolkid182. If it weren't for Joey and Schoolkid, I wouldn't have a Youtube channel like I do now but there's more to it. @ryansburgers was the one who brought me the Minigun when he held his own giveaway to random forum members. You can thank Ryan for being one of the reasons why I have a Youtube channel and how I got my first Youtube video. My Mc-war arsenal is probably the greatest reason why I'm not leaving besides the people who I have known for months.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Whoever took the time to read my incredibly long thread, thank you. I spent some hoursr typing this whole thing up to express the frustrations I've had so far in Mc-war and maybe some of you have had as well. Besides that, try to enjoy Mc-war while it lasts and have a nice day.

    As a staff member who is obligated to play on this server daily, I feel your pains.

    If anyone here could remember, I was ALWAYS against ideas such as the Ray Gun and Crossbow in July, since I knew they were too overpowered for their own good. Of course balances changes are too occur, but it always breaks my heart to see what has changed in this server over the summer. I know firsthand, contrary to most forum members, because I still have no donations on this account yet. I may be considered "good", but my l118a still cannot compare to the increasing number of (scavenger) skull crushers and crossbows. I think one of our problems is the decreasing of servers. While our donations increase, that being the prestiges and donator players, the servers decrease, causing more of these players to be together for more matches. Before the LAW nerf, I would see one occasional LAW player on a team. nothing to concern about. It was just a different way of playing. Now, there are average four of these new "LAW" players on each side. This may not seem to be much, but to someone who is defenseless against them, it is... discouraging. I am not sure how real new players feel about this though. I can go on my alt to get my fix of good weapons, though. Here is my problem with my previous statements: I don't want to have to use really powerful weapons to feel like I am enjoying the game. Might just be a problem with me, but I am still satisfied with using the l118a and executioner, just I don't like how one player can so effortlessly kill me when I am extremely outgunned by their donation.

    I have just defined pay2win.

    First of all @18kss @Lord_Roke @Cbsud keep an eye on this thread please.

    I read the al thread and I agree with you on most points:

    The ray-gun and the crossbow have turned the mc-war games into grinding and killing without any skill or challenge other players... The minifun is ok I use in some gamemodes but it does get annulus. When there is 5 on the other team.

    I can tell that Daniel is not really interested in the clan, he just likes to play daily and have fun but doesn't take the clan as serious as before. It does need a drastic change but the current members that I see on are: @DenMilk22, you , @F1r3tar, daniel, me, @Chickenninja15, @Romkelolol and a few other guys that are quite and the clan switchers.... I hate those guys who switch clan to be on the good team for like 20 min.... This is just sad

    I was there " before " with the old spawn, like you say the law was quite overpowered and the prestige we're so rare, but not anymore.... Before lesser good players could admire the prestige ones... Now they have a bad impression and consider most of us like douch bags and donor noobs.

    Like you I didn't donate to get scav but Daniel actually gifted it to me ( I was really happy ). It is the only donor thing I got and the only thing I need. I'm quite happy using my skullcrusher nearly every game and taking out my isolator if donors come on.

    Also there isn't anymore the clan base servers... It as vanished in the last few months, before each big clan had it's home server but now it's just go to server 1 to get destroyed and and go to other servers to farm until a donor ruins your day.

    I have 1 donator item: scav. The only reason I have it: it is (almost) impossible to do well with autos without it. The amount of donors is waaaaay to high also. Especially because literally every round I see AT LEAST 2 people camping doors with crossbow. At least minigun requires some skill, cuz you gotta be able to get up to them without dying. COBE requires next to no skill. Even if you miss the player, you will most likely kill the player because of the explosion! Don't even get me started on the ray and infect. Especially TheHood. The amount of RayGun campers in that map has literally made it so the second I respawn, I die.

    Honestly, I agree with you, 100%. I think War is dying.

    I agree with this a lot.

    The biggest thing that pisses me off is the word "noob". THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A NOOB.
    Also, the yellow name tag means absolutely nothing anymore. I remember when there would be maybe 2 31+ in the server at a time. Now it's just every single person on the server.

    Which is why barely anyone is taking advantage of that (Crossbows, Ray Guns, etc). Before I started typing this thread, I stopped using the Skull recently and the only weapons I ever use are either the Iso or Mini. I might stop using Python and replace it with Desert which I always use for OneIn unlike Executioner.

    You know, I have just started talking with like 7 of my friends on minecraft in the past few weeks. We play our own server for a little, but then we migrate to actual minecraft servers. I have yet to reveal MCBrawl to them. If I talk to them tonight, I will try to show them war. I want to know what new players feel about it. I will try to start them off on like server 6 to have a decent size, but then move them to server 1 to experience the amount of donator players. I want to see how they react, to see if they do they rage, to know if they are having fun.
    The true community I see is all of the forum members. You are family to me. If there is say a Feyz member on and I will use Moko as an example on server 1, I would rather talk to Moko then my clan mate. If new players want examples, they should look up to the forumers.
    What is going to be very interesting is when summer break starts. The servers will be jam packed, new players will join, and older players will return. This will be an interesting summer indeed..

    I'm watching this thread but I totally agree with you.
    Especially on the "Noob" and "Donors boasting about their skills" part.
    I honestly hate the whole "noob" thing, what is the point in the whole noob thing when they don't even know what the true meaning of 'noob' is.... All people do is constantly say '(insert name or gun here) NOOB!'. And I'm not saying that just people under -31 say it but a scary amount of +31 people say it. And I mean a lot...
    What is the point in saying 'noob' anyways? It just makes you look more stupid. The word 'noob' is nothing, it's only just a stupid thing someone made up to insult someone.
    And I see a lot of donors say like "64/3 BG"... Honestly, how is a bg? Just because you lost one nuke doesn't mean it's a bg, keep your overly boasted scores to yourself.

    Not remove them entirely but nerf them in the update. Now I don't know when it will come but teasing players about it was a bad idea...

    Maybe if they had a nerf, but somehow made it harder to play with them. As in it requires more skill to use it effectively. Like how people bought the Peacekeeper which was a stronger weapon, but really hard to play with.

    I really do appreciate someone taking the time and effort to make a thread like this. And I feel honored to be one of your few friends (cuz I'm in Stuff. :v)
    I remember all the clans you are talking about. I especially miss Gunz, Afghan_Kidd was a really nice player and I was In Gunz for as long as anyone can remember. And you have not experienced nostalgia unless you played the rainbow spawn or battleship spawn (I played both :v)
