My true thoughts on Mc-War.

I am a donator and I use my minigun on practically every match. I have 3 perks, all guns, gnades, c4, and flashes
I dont think donating ruins the joy of others or there is any possible way to "misuse" a gun.

People who rage at donators (not saying its you), and who call "noob" are just immature kids.
I kinda agree with you on clans, but I dont see how they harm anything.
(I do think there should be less explosive donator weapons. Make the ray gun a RAY, not a op handcannon)

 

I remember how much fun I had before they added those donor guns (and the dreaded c4). I'll admit it, but I used to call people law noob back then. Now that terms seems tiny in comparison to everyone else just spamming the new donor weapons. Of course, I stopped calling people noobs a while ago.

 

Here's my donor inventory: All guns exept flame, Scav, nades, and c4. I have to admit, I regret getting the bow and ray especially. I hardly use mini, but I love it, an I got the law for free from a coupon code putty/whoever runs the twitter gave out.

I used to love donor guns, but since I rarely use them anymore, I finally realized how nooby they are. Most "pros" on MC-War rely on their donor guns. (I'm very tempted to name one in particular). Now, I like I use guns like Dragonov, ak, and other low teirs. Once you open your eyes, you realize who the actual MC-War pros are... I'll name one of my favorites: @Pikmin_Hunter . This guy was the reason I stopped using op guns. Thanks, Pik

I agree with you Moko... It's pay to win now. There is really nothing we can do about it though :l. I really wish players (again, very tempted >:l) would open their eyes to see what they are.

 

Ikr, but i don't consider the score itself on how good the game is. I say GG if i would go 1-42 if i got it by running around and stuff, but if i would camp, glitch or similar things and went 231-0 I would consider that bg since it's not fair. I don't care about the score, all i care about is if everyone plays it the way it's meant to be played.

 

So i was looking for servers that i could play on. I had never so i wanted to see if it was fun or not.So i went on youtube to look at fun servers to play on.Mc war was my first server i played on. Because i was a noob i didnt know what to do. I was addicted to that game trying to level up. I got really depressed because people were so op with these donor guns. One He deay Mc war didnt seem fun to me because i wlotas just getting killed. So i stopped playing. Three months later i see mc war on my server list. I get on and it was tdm. When i start to play a guy with law shoots me. I see that it got nerfed. So i thought to myself ," maybe the server has changed." When a guy comes i see him with a bow. I said what could he do with a bow. So i try to kill him and he shoots me with it. He killed me with one shot. So i press respawn quickly and he kills me with the explosion. I said to myself even though people were op i wasnt going to let them ruin my fun. I was trying to level up as fast as i could. When i reached level 31+ i was satisfied with myself. When lower level people killed me i would call them noob. Then i realized i was no better than the other higher level people calling lower level people noobs. A lot if people think they are good becausethey are a high level. But they probably just donated to get there. A lot of people get called iso noob because they kill them with it. But the real fact is that maybe that player dosent have scav and they can only nuke with. I know a lot of people that dont have scav and they nuke with iso. One of these people is me. It dosent take skill to spam the raygunin infect to get an emp. And it dosent take skill to spam the cbow to get a nuke in plaza. Imagine how the new feel when they get killed easily with these donor guns. They probably dont want to play anymore. Right now i am proud of myself for being level 68without donating anything. But is it really an acomplishment? Mc war hasnt changed since i got on. Now peoole are runnng with iron and diamond armor. I dont even think that they should of added c4 because everyone is glitching with it.Even today i saw a person glitch with c4 in infect. Its not even fun anymore playing mc war because you cant unlock other guns and stuff. A lot of people think the "new update" is going to add modre guns. I heard that two months ago. I dont even know why i still play it. Maybe because i know a lot of people on there or im just waiting for something to happen. Thats what i think of mc war now. Today I was talking to mokolee on teamspeak and he basicly told me all what he wrote here on this thread. I agree with him.

 

I don't really mind donor's if they were at the very least level 41 when they donated for the first time to try out new guns and such, but there are players like public, meb, and me who were around level 90 when we first donated. I do miss the older days of this but we would have to ask the new players what they believe should change.

Fun fact, the first time I donated was when the ray gun came out, I got that and scavenger, but I had a law before that I got at level 90 from a friend.

 

My best memories of MC-War were back in the summer, nearly a year ago. Even before I became a moderator, MC-War was great, with the lack of OP weapons. The Barrett may have been quite powerful, but the community was a lot smaller and it was quite balanced, as the majority of the weapons had some type of way to balance each other out. The minigun and flamethrower were pretty weak back then though, and the LAW was quite powerful. However, I would rarely see those LAW users. Most people would use their M4A1's, AK-47's, and an occasional Skullcrusher which I quickly eliminated with my Barrett. C4 was out, but it was weak. I still had high hopes for the great fun I had.
Then, the raygun, an iconic Zombies weapon, was added to MC-War. In my opinion, that was one of the worst mistakes Orange has made. I may receive many disagrees with this, but Zombies weapons just don't fit in a multiplayer PvP server with guns. The prestige weapons were pushing it a little, but it wasn't too bad. However, the raygun had just brought it way too far. It especially got worse after the damage buff that made it extremely OP in infect, and a nerf to the Barrett and the LAW. This buff also made it explode no matter what, which isn't how it worked before. Originally, it would only explode if you actually hit a player, which was quite balanced.
While I was still trying to get used to the new Demolisher, a new weapon was released - the crossbow. After its explosion buff, the crossbow became one of the most overused donor weapons in MC-War. Because of its spammable arrows and pretty much infinitely high firerate, it was easy to get kills with the bow. It still is now. I understand what Orange was thinking here, that a bow would be a good idea. But the infinite firerate with no reload, in addition to the explosions, is quite OP.
The worst thing about the two new donor weapons introduced in the fall of 2013 is that they're so popular. The buffs showed that they were obviously a lot more powerful than any non donor weapon you could purchase. This caused many players to get the Raygun and Crossbow, in the hopes that they would too receive epic killfeeds. In addition, biased players (no names listed) began calling random players ____ noobs or something similar.
That slowly dragged the server down to what it is today - pay to win and constant bullying of new players and veteran players. I hope this changes soon, because a server like that never lasts long if nothing is done...

Take it from me.
If you are not equal to their weapons, people who use the skullcrusher are not the most fun to fight. On my alt, they are perfectly fine to me, since I can fight them fine, but on this one, with nothing special, they are discouraging to fight. This complaint is for new players who might feel discouraged about the really powerful weapons of others.
Try fighing these people with no donations, and you'll see what I mean.

 

Ahhh i see what you mean. Ive been using the dissasembler and skully a lot lately and they're awesome guns.
But yeah, I can see why people would be discouraged

 

Does anyone else feel like the people that complained about the iso are slowly starting to tolerate it?
I also feel like the hatred for the iso has been replaced by hatred toward the minigun, or will soon.

 

The "mini nub" has been there, but with the dawn of no recoil, its been resurfacing.

 

Since the recoil was taken out, everyone is slowly moving to the minigun and now I'm starting to see people say "MINI NOOB" in chat... However this is quite rare for me to see this happens but it's slowly coming...

 

I disagree. In fact, it has grown. It used to be only one famous player (no names) who accused users of the Isolator of being noobs. Now, you will see members in those mainstream clans like Feyz do it. It especially happens in Feyz, but I saw a level 3 player today who learned the "Iso noob" thing, and called his killer an Iso noob.

 

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but maybe there can be a "nostalgic server". An MC-War server that has no donor items for people that want that.

Who in Feyz said this? No one ever gives me names lol

Also yes, Joey was the main one calling people iso noobs, but there were a lot of other people that did it. I think those people are shifting their attention toward the minigun, that's all.
