Less ammo for scavenger users

    So as you know, scavenger gets you a lot of ammo when you have high killstreaks. After reading a post by @Gynamo I thought of this idea. When a player doesn't have scavenger equipped, he will still have a good chance of nuking, because with this idea is an ammo buff for weapons that need it, like assault rifles and pistols.
    When you have scavenger equipped, your ammo is decreased. For instance, you would have 32 rounds instead of 64 rounds with the Isolator, if you had scavenger equipped.

    As you can see, the weapons with a higher damage value have less ammo with/without scavenger. With the weapons that have a lower damage value, they will start with more ammo.
    Seem good? Vote on the poll, comment below, etc.
    This would make the server less pay-to-win and it would give people without scavenger a chance of getting good scores.

    The ammo values in the spoilers were based on the damage and firerate of the gun. If you want, feel free to suggest more. I'm shaky on some of them, because it might be O.P. or U.P.. I need opinions on the ammo given...

    The ammo counts should be altered a little bit.
    It shouldn't be made where having the perk is such a detriment compared to not having it.
    To be honest, I would rather use some of these guns without scavenger instead.
    That might be the point, to lessen the use, but that doubly lessens the overall usefulness of the perk.
    Given time, I can guesstimate what could be balanced.

    Well, the ammo counts were an example/my opinion. They're not set in stone. It's the idea itself, that weapons should have more ammo when you don't have scavenger. But I will edit some of the ammo values. Thanks for your opinion, Majora.

    I really like this, but maybe like giving snipers a little more ammo with scavenger on? Cause even with scavenger, it's kinda hard to sometimes get kills cause most of the snipers don't always one shot (unless head shot) so it'll be very hard to get ammo. But I see where you're going with this and I do really like it.

    I'm doing that right now. I changed the values of many ammo counts for different weapons. Remember that it is a placeholder, and it's what I think. It's the idea itself that counts...
    EDIT: Done. The Disassembler was left the same because... you know why.

    Another point.

    I don't this entirely fixes the issue. The current problem is that with unlimited ammo, spammibility increases, causing more camping around corners, allowing people to funnel into, and killing people in the safety of your own spawn with no repricussions. This... doesn't exactly fix this. All it really does is buff those who don't have the perk. Which is why I still like Tac's old idea, where you have to run to the fallen player tp collect your ammp. If this were to be put into place, all previous issues would be removed.

    So just to make sure I am on the same page, you are saying that if/when (not sure if it will be added in a war update) overall initial ammo is increased for guns, you want to make it so scavenger users automatically are given less ammo to balance the perk out? If so, I agree on that. It definitely balances out scav. Good ideas.

    Yeah, those issues would be removed, but it would create even more issues such as people running out of ammo as fast as a friggin cheetah on 'roids. Mc-war is too defensive for this idea.

    If you managed to get even 1 kill, you would receive ammo for each weapon. Remember that.
    Removing the ammo suggestion values, people are focusing on that and not on the idea itself.

    I never read Tac's old idea, was it like dropping the ammo on the ground for players to pick up?
    But it buffs the players who never donated, but makes the ones who did just so much better.

    At first I though you meant decreasing the ammo per kill (which I would of said no). But you seem to mean that you start off with less ammo with this perk equipped, but you get the same amount per kill? If this is the case, than I will say yes to this idea seeing as this wouldn't affect gameplay too much.

    How much ammo would you get by using scav then? And even Leman's mag is over 32 rounds.

    You would receive the same amount of ammo per kill. With scavenger, ammo received at start/every respawn depends on the weapon's damage value. For instance, the USP would receive more starting ammo than the Isolator, if you had scavenger.
    Because some people only have scavenger and no other perks (hi) and need scavenger for their Python.
