Idea Default /Rules

People know that hacking is against the rules, and if try are stupid enough to do it then they will be banned. Although I do agree with you, the /rules command does need some more rules and info added.

 

I have always been one in favor for /rules and a way to return to the original spawn building. When you would return to the spawn building, you would be asked to make sure and your inventory would be wiped and you'd die after you leave. The spawn area could also get an upgrade. There could be a shooting range where you test out guns, guides, ect.

 

All the server rules are located here. There should not be any excuse otherwise.

 

Well we typically don't use plugins like Essentials since we like to keep it custom and unique.
Meaning that we normally use custom coding.

If they think hacking is okay, then you are friends with the wrong people.
I am sorry to admit, but if someone thinks hacking/cheating in not just minecraft, but anything is okay just because it doesn't say it in the rules, is pretty gosh darn dumb.

If they don't have the common sense to know hacking isn't allowed, then I am pretty disappointed.

 

They can't say it is not in the /rules so they can not be punished. Everyone who had ever hacked and been recorded or caught hacking. Was banned.

 

That is good that the rules are here but then again not a lot of people know the existence of the forums and even less go on it. So the /rules must have at least this added to prevent stupid excuses from hacking members.

 

It's generally common sense that using a hacked client will not be permitted on our servers.

And I am sure they will quickly change their mind.

Nevertheless, possibly a change to the /rules .txt could be useful, brighten it up a bit, add some more detail. As I know that a lot of people who play on our servers, are not in fact forum members.
