I was just thinking, why not have parties?
Remember in Call of Duty, when you can invite a friend to a lobby and join the game together on the same team? Why not try that for War?
A command, such as /party (player) or /p (player) would invite another friend/player to join a party with you. It ensures you are on the same team together --- Assuming the next game is not a FFA type game.

This could take away the total clan teaming in some way, making them have to form parties instead of huge clans.
Of course, there would be a limit, usually 8 since it was the limit on Call of Duty to a party.

Just an idea that related back to Call of Duty. Trying to inch closer to becoming like CoD in Minecraft.

This honestly seems like a pretty good idea. I do agree there should be a finite number of participants as well.
You brought up how it might not work well with clans in the sense that players in the same clan will be on the same team. Here is a rough idea that might need some fixing, but hear me out first. If you join a party, you will no longer be optimized to be on your clan's team 100% of the time. That being said, the game will try to put you on your clan's team if it can. If it can not, then you are put on the opposing team. I would like to see what other people think of this first, I am open to changing this as well. Speak your mind, I am flexible :stuck_out_tongue:.
Another idea would be similar to have a party chat. Here are a few scenarios of making this work: A) /pc on/off. This would toggle your chat to only show your messages to the participants of the group. IT could show your name in a special color or have your text look different from the rest. However, it could be trouble to keep having to turn the toggle on and off if you want to flip between talking to the party and talking to someone else. B) This is similar to other servers, one of which is mineplex, but how it works is you start your message with a certain symbol, such as say the @ symbol, a #, or maybe ! . This might be a little easier. C) Both! Let users have the freedom to try both options ,and see which one they prefer using and is more convenient to them.

So this is like the mineplex system? To me this sounds like a very nice idea, but is the "team part necessary? Because on party all the games are FFA style. Other than that I think that this is an excellent idea.

I find nothing wrong here, a party system would be pretty cool, reasonable and simplistic. You have my support on this idea.

I like the first idea, /p c or /party chat would work. Similar to PvP where you do /t c to talk to your team.
But you would still see your clan in Public chat. It would still show the same things.

Not necessarily, since Mineplex allows you to form a party to go into different minigames, but kind of. Since you can make a "party" and be on the same team, and chat to each other.

I know that a lot if people makes clans so that they can play in the same team as there friens, but it costs 2000 credits to make a clan (correct me if I'm wrong) so a party feature would be pretty cool and usefull for new players.
