Fate of the Mc-War Plugin

    I'm not saying that this server is dying or anything, but there have been very few people on, and other McBrawl servers are taking over (McParty)

    I made this thread, since I was wondering what will happen to this unique plugin, as it is a private plugin, exclusively to this server. So when this server dies, which again, I'm not saying will happen, will the plugin be passed on to another server, to continue the legacy for Mc-War diehards?

    It won't die, but it would definitely get a player buff when the new update comes.

    When it dies, it gets thrown in the trash. We aren't going to sell the plugin.

    Orange would never give his coded work that he deserved to make thousands off of in Mc-War. I remember when Toby once made a thread stating that he would actually buy the Mc-War plugin for like $100.

    Well, if it ever does, which is most likely will in future generations unless Chaploo decides to have a kid and give ownership to him or something, this server MIGHT die in the very, very, VERY far future.
    When and if that ever happens, I suggest this.
    Copyright the plugin and make it downloadable for, lets say $10 to start?
    Since it will be perfected by our coders, many people may try to duplicate it, yet it isn't that easy.
    Take advantage of our work, and make the best out of it.

    Imagine how many future server owners would die for this elite, advanced, amazing coding?

    Mc-war will be here for a LONG time, and when it ends I don't think orange will sell it. It's his masterpiece.

    It's good you're being optimistic, but I don't think we should assume it's just going to fill up without doing anything.
    The update will most likely add more players, but in the mean time I think mc-war should strive to improve in any other area it can.
    Who's "we"? You act like you own the plugin.

    I don't remember seeing full servers during my spring break, and that's like a mini summer break too. Although there will probably be more players on than currently.

    Not necessarily. He could just shut down Mc-War if it's becoming a waste of money and donations aren't coming in, but we are far from that.

    Donations will be the least of their problems with all the donors today :grinning:.

    Mc-War is a server like no other I have seen. It's the only server that I thrive to play, and I rarely play anything else on minecraft. It's also the only minecraft website I've ever signed up on .-.
    However, player count does seem to be a problem. Many players quit due to the lag, or just overall boredom. Yeah, we all want 2.0 to come out. And when it does (hopefully it will :3) it will turn into the server it used to be. I remember there used to be 1,000+ players on, we had 20 servers, and everything was great. Looking forward to the summer :smile:
