Hidden malware?

    Last night I was using the computer playing around as usual and then the computer instantly restarts right in the middle of me typing a really long /summon command and I randomly hear totally random advertisements that are obviously being played by a virus because I can still hear it when the computer's on the "Shutting down" screen and it's making my internet lag like crap. Everyone else who uses my computer (apparently my family) are experiencing the same thing. I looked in the installed program list, the same exact programs as before this started were there, I scanned with the AV, it said there was nothing. Safe mode doesn't even work, dang it. Anything I can do?

    EDIT: Stop saying "use an antivirus"

    You should get McAfee and MalwareBytes, they're pretty good antivirus programs.

    You really have no virus scans on your computer and you download resource packs and possibly mods for minecraft through the internet? I'm sorry, but that's not a good idea.

    Maybe I should just rollback my computer to 8:00 yesterday?
    Because the virus definitely wasn't on at 8:00 PM April 29 what t z is sparta in
    how do I know your not Tac42
    the only mods I have are rei's minimap and toomanyitems
    I have a video of what it's like but dang it I can't attach it because it has "illegal extension" Why is the .mov extension illegal

    It's trustable, I use it.
    The thing about open-source software is, reliability is pretty much a requirement, as the code is freely available, and so security and/or backend issues are pretty obvious to anyone who bothers to look.

    Get Vipre. I know you said stop asking for posts on anti viruses but Vipre is different. It not only searches your current programs but scans all previously downloaded programs. Even if you deleted them. I highly recommend it.

    It's not adware, it's some crazy thing that makes you always hear voices at random moments as long as the computer is not turned off, it's driving me crazy. I posted at 2:07 that I should probably just use the system restore. And it's been happening since 9:45 (I don't even know what exact time) last night when the computer instantly restarted in the middle of me playing MC. I have a video of what it causes but I can't attach it because of the file extension. Should I just post it on my Instagram and then post a link that redirects to the IG vid?
