Hello McBrawl! I have come to the community asking what your pick is over which chat is better. Now before you jump to conclusion and vote, let me list some pros and cons for both chats.

    Global-
Con: Profanity is abundant in Global Chat.
Con: You see a lot of threats.
Con: Players taunt you after death.
Pro: This chat allows you to freely talk among players without messaging.

    Local-
Pro: This type of chat gives you the DayZ aspect.
Pro: You will no longer see arguments.
    Pro: No more threats.
Pro: No more taunting after death.
Con: You must message a player for it to reach global.

Now that I have listed most of the Pros and Cons of the Chats, you decide. Remember one chat could change WarZ completely ridding of all threats and profanity.
Once you vote I would greatly appreciate you leaving a reason as to why you picked what you did.
So I can either disprove, improve, or agree with your statement.

Please vote with a peace of mind, pick what makes sense rather then what you're used to.

Well, giving away positions and/or coords is a part of every server... Also known as betraying? I guess.
Local chat can still have threats, but you wouldn't necessarily see them.
And this seems very biased, no offense.
You gave one option of con for global, but split up the one option on global into three PROS on local. :stuck_out_tongue:
And what do you mean by Local Chat? Like just teams?

And is this an idea or suggestion?
    I am really confused.

This is a discussion. I am asking the community what their opinion is on this subject, and it may be a bit biased but in the end Global chat only brings forth arguments and threats.

    Not necessarily?
It is a place to meet new people, and help out the community.

If you are a new player, would you message the whole server to find out how to play?
Where to go? How to team? What to do?
    I think not.

If you were a new player would you randomly broadcast "How do I play?"
    No.
If you were a new player you would usually be playing because someone suggested it. If you are intelligent you look up how to play or ask a friend.
I have played WarZ for 8-10 months now and not once have I seen a guy broadcast asking how to team or where to go.
This is not something that affects the players on WarZ, and we out number the newcomers. Benefiting the active players of WarZ is more important then the new people.

So when you are in a local chat ugh your team, you don't see anything going on in the global chat?

How do I play this server?
You do not know how many times someone asked me what to do on PvP Survival... It is in the name.
Me and @Lord_Roke have said it so many times that we basically have it on Copy and Paste.

Oh, am teaming is a whole different world. Both in WarZ and War, and PvP.

And this just is upsetting. "Benefiting the active players of WarZ is more important then the new people." That is plain out just selfish man. Before long, we lose all our members and no new ones come. WHAT do you think will happen when you stop playing Minecraft? When all the "active players" quit? Huh?
*Joins a server where you can't talk. *leaves.

Just, no. Don't be so selfish. You are basically saying, "Screw new people. They are noobs, and let the experienced people get what they want." Clearly an over-exaggeration, but pretty much.

Mods watch this thread, because I can sense a flame coming soon.

You are not fully understanding what I said.

Mc-WarZ is already fading away. Losing close to 20 daily players every day. Also McBrawl has shifted their attention elsewhere. WarZ is something that takes a while to get used to. New people usually leave because they can hardly get out of spawn without being killed.

Do not call me selfish if you do not fully understand what I was saying. Worrying about the people who have paid money and play daily on McBrawl should be their first priority. On MineZ they have gotten extremely popular and their chat consists of nothing but Local.

    Your argument is invalid.

FLAME WAR FLAME WAR FLAME WAR!
But seriously, let's not argue. We're friends. Constructive criticism.

Well, it kind of is selfish?
You are telling people and McBrawl that you are more important than the community consisting of new players?
And then you mean to tell me that is not selfish? Because it most DEFINITELY is not caring.

New players find out how to play as I did. It's not selfish.

Parkman arguing this further makes you look like a fool.

First of all, its Park. My name is not Parker. Call me Park, Parkman, Parkman1221. Not Parker.

And second, once again, it is selfish.
And lastly, this is getting out of hand.

Oh, my bad. Forgot. I just didn't want it to go on further/get worse, so I tried to end it as quickly as possible.

Okay, you know what? "Parkman" you win this argument. And Mrcowlick I do not feel as though I offended anyone. I said arguing further would be foolish. But who am I to have an opinion? 3/10 warnings now.

Sorry for starting a flame war, as it is my fault.

You are saying insulting things to members of the community. Of course you're entitled to an opinion and that is fine, but the way you express it is not ok.
