It's fun if you get extensions, which can cost money. So I would only advise getting it if you are ready to buy in-game purchases. I could be wrong but that was my experience with it.

 

I highly recommend this game, it's amazing.

 

I think you should get it. I don't have it myself, but from the videos posted on Youtube, it looks very fun (especially Prop Hunt).

 

My favorite ones from YT is Prop hunt and the murder thing.

But it looks very fun to play.

If i buy it do i have to buy CS:Source to play TTT or prop hunt?

 

You don't have to, but if you don't buy CS:Source all the item/player models from CS:Source will show up as big errors. Like this

I think you can download standalone models, but I don't know if it works.

 

Believe it or not, Garry's Mod runs faster than minecraft does.
I suggest you get it. Without optifine, my first laptop (My main one) can only run minecraft with 5-15 fps. Garry's mod, however, I get 25-100 (No joke.) It's extremely fun and the possibilities are almost endless! (Yes, there's a end, but it's a really really small chance you'll reach it, considering the development of more and more addons and maps). If you have any questions or anything, I'll be glad to answer them. I've moved from minecraft to GMod lately and so if you message me, we might play together one day.

You can lie about your age, and if it's your parents that are the problem, look up "cscheater.eu counter strike source content download" on google. You can EASILY download the content and maps for all sorts of Valve games for free. While there, I suggest getting Half life 2 episodes 1-2 content as well. They are needed for a lot of the textures in Garry's mod.

 

I did however forget to mention, Garry's mod for linux is not yet fully optimized and lags a little ( My brother uses linux) Just so you know.
