Nope! There is another infect server that I saw in a video and you are always crouched but can also run.

 

On a infect server I play on you can donate for /sneak to auto-sneak

 

Oooor you could just make it so that others can't see your nametag?

 

Its hard to do. You have to pretty much configure an invisibility potion to show the player but not the nameplate. I don't know how to do that but I bet a certain orange does.

I'm not trying to be a jerk about it, but as a developer, I'd like to see you using more of the forums. I didn't know about this particular fix either, but by Googling "bukkit hide nametag" I found this. I'd love to see you become a better developer, and I'm here to help, not hurt you.

Thanks! Also this seems kind of useless in some gamemodes like infect as everyone is already crouched.

 

You can already shift. Most people camp and are crouched so it doesn't really matter.

 

Actually, the normal invis effect would work fine, since you could see the player's armor unless they just spawned, the only problem is you couldn't show other people your skin. (As if anyone really cares.)

 

Actually if someone exploits out of the map, you can't figure out who it was which is bad.
