News Update

1.8 Preparations

We are currently working on getting all of the servers updated for the big Minecraft 1.8 changes. There is a lot to be done to ensure that we are ready for name changes and such. After we get everything everything 1.8 ready we will be focusing on more party updates, bug fixes for survival, and some minor war and warz patches.

Creative will be getting redesigned after 1.8 comes out. We'll have to export a lot of builds or figure out a system for builders to transfer their plots to the new worlds. More will be discussed at a later date. Do not worry about losing any of your builds.


Forum

As most of you wanted, we have finally made a dark theme made for the forums. You can apply the new nether theme by hitting the light switch at the bottom of the page. There are still some slight touch ups that we need to make, but it's pretty much done.

Some fun theme statistics:
* 64.1% of people that have changed their theme are using white
* 35.9% of people that have changed their theme are using dark

Along with the new theme, our front page addon should be done very soon. This addon will pull content from the forums and our servers. It will dynamically display information for the recent threads, announcements, twitter feed, and future contests.


Damage Indicators

Please note that damage indicators are no longer allowed. Anyone that used them in the past will not be disciplined as long as they remove them. We are giving a one month grace period before we begin banning for it. View our allowed mods list here.


New Super Moderator

As you all have noticed Giggadream has been promoted to Super-Mod! He will be handling all "live" issues, media creation, and media organization. You probably won't see him much in-game since he'll be spying on you all.

Summer

Summer break is getting near for most McBrawl players. We are excited for the influx of players and are preparing a lot of activities for the summer. We would love to hear any ideas or plans that you guys have for the summer!
