WarZ staff.

I know them all better than most of all the people saying "They're bad" and whatever.
And I know for a fact there is very few people who could do a better job.
I have started to try and get a bit more active on WarZ - But when I am actually on the servers, I spend most of my time catching hackers on KitBrawl, or catching hackers on WarZ.
We will be looking for some more WarZ staff members, as we're currently kinda low on the WarZ frontier, so i'll look forward to seeing who meets the cut and gets a go.
It is awfully easy for people who have never moderated on WarZ to call the current staff bad, but for example, if you asked @GK01320135780 what it was like, switching from player to moderator on WarZ, I am sure you will be told differently.

 

Well, I was probably the first and most likely last Australian mod, WarZ staff in my opinion and also experience are very disliked because every single time I logged on people just say "If you log your demoted" and "Wow, nice abuse". Mods are the worse treated people on that community, they deserve more respect. If there were no moderators, the community is going to be much worse than it already is. I hate when people say that I used hacks and I was getting demoted. WarZ is just a community where people think its normal to DDoS/Hack, mods are treated as ... , I know I said that twice. I have already started thinking if I should move to War, I can't stand the amount this bull. People who hack are trying to also team with Moderators so they are less likely to get banned.

Honestly, if someone were to tell me "log and you're demoted," why would I care? Does their opinion effect my position as a Moderator? No. They can complain all they want, but what they don't realize is that we're there to protect them and the server. Sure, we play the game just like any other member of the WarZ community would, but when it comes to it, moderator duties come first. All of the current WarZ staff are doing great in my opinion, especially since there are so few of us. We aren't always treated the nicest, but we do our job, and that's really all that matters.

As Peas said, I'm sure Putty is looking into getting some more qualified WarZ staff, but it's hard to go from a normal player on WarZ to a staff member. We don't want to promote someone who is not qualified simply to fill the slot of a position.

 

Going from player to WarZ Moderator is a huge jump in the McBrawl community, people don't understand the diffuculty of having to Moderate a variety of servers especially being that WarZ is completely diffrent to how others treat staff on other Brawl servers, also me and Green being the only EU WarZ Mods and I think even being the only EU Mcbrawl was pretty hard to cope with. I'd be more than happy to have a second shot at Moderating WarZ and learn from my mistakes but unfortunatly things aren't just like that, all I can say is goodluck to those applying for WarZ and if you do indeed get the roll make sure to use support of other staff members like Greenpeas who was very helpful to me, you can also PM me as I have delt through alot of things and I could hopefully help you out on it.

Edit: Forgot to mention, as @GreenPeas_ said, my view is diffrent, the WarZ staff should be treated with all the respect you may give, they are working hard everyday to ensure you, and the server is safe, they are there to protect not harm you. Also understand that with all the hate you give them, even if they hate you back, they treat you fairly, they will help you when you need, they will answer your questions and they'll guide you on what to do, WarZ Mods are underestimated by players and this should change.

 

I understand. It is tough to moderate WarZ. The ddos is unreal. But when staff resign because there being ddosed it makes me feel like the ddosers are winning...

 

every staff member is fine and they're doing everything correctly, i don't ever remember seeing more than 1 person getting demoted or banned because of bad behaviour in mod rank.

 

I think WarZ staff have it really hard, with the community which is part of the reason why I resigned. So respect them please, it's not easy moderating WarZ.
