Would this dayz hungergames be a good event to implement into the game?

Recently, I've found myself switching between hunger games and warz. I had an idea that we combine both in an event.

We round up 30 or so worthy players, everyone spawns at noobtown, no chest restart, and last man standing wins. The winner would get some sort of prize or something.

I though that this would a lot of fun for many people. I figured that this could be a monthly thing, maybe on a Friday or Saturday.

I see lots of youtube videos of DayZ servers doing random events like hunger games. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to make an 11 server just for special events. I love the idea too. Maybe the winner could even get MVP for one month.

Hm.. Everybody would just run North straight away, looting one or two places for a little food.
I don't think this would work very well. Nice idea though

They could make it tier 1 and 2 only with no chest refill in a really small map with a dome....hmm

Thats true. We could have a small map with teir one and two weapons with leather and iron armor. Then it comes down to the best players.

Here is a list of rules:
    1. No chest reset
    2. 20-30 players
    3. Limit number of chests to 4-8 chests per town depending on the size of the town (this will keep people from just going straight to nether and getting 1/2 d and all t4).
    4. Keep the zones the same.
    5. When you die, you are able to spectate???
    6. when 5-6 players remain, everyone is teleported to nether for a final deathmatch.
    7. winner receives some sort of prize.

I really think that this would be so much fun. Hopefully the admins will look this over and think to implement something like this.

Well I can see this being fun.
But not the whole time, just a one or two time event.

Maybe the admins might do this if something big is going on.
    Seems fun.

Like the OP said, maybe just once a month? The first Saturday maybe?

The last two players would never find each other. Perhaps the compass range would have to be extended server-wide.
I wouldn't do that. It would be a madhouse up there.

Ok... READ THE THREAD, in one of my other posts i said... "when 5-6 players remain, everyone is teleported to nether for a final deathmatch"

everyone is literally repeating things that i already said would be good to have in order to reduce problems. Read the entire thread please, all of my posts have solved every single problem that has been brought up... Yet again... READ THE THREAD.

This would be fun but with more like 40-50 people per game and no compasses so it would be more like the hunger games.

Just a problem you have to deal with... People read the original post them comment without bothering to see what others say.

    That would work.
I realize that, but, even the original post addresses all of their suggested problems.
