Players talking trash.

There's really no way to control people who let out their rage in the chat. What should've been a nice server with good sports playing on it is currently a ghetto with pyschopaths and their wide range of "WarZ vocabulary".

I agree, WarZ has reached a new level of awful.

 

I was going to apply in the end of. May if I got my re activity up, which I no longer have a desire to anymore since I no longer play minecraft.

Warz really needs a better community…

 

Whenever a player says "recorded" or "ez ban" I just tell that player to report them and there's no need to say anything.

 

I feel that people shouldn't even feel a need to respond in public chat. It's just stupid.

 

I think the competitiveness has a lot of relevance to why players curse, or act egotistical/uncouth. Players spend so much time gathering items in order to risk it all. I think the risk factor is the cause of player's bad or good attitudes. The trash-talking and bad behavior will only end when people learn to deal with losing all their progress.

 

I entirely agree. I think there should be a sort of announcement that says something like "If you die, remember you can get better items again!" Or something so people stop raging in chat.

 

In this case words aren't enough, actions must be taken.

 

We need chat mods who can mute for 5 minutes if players are rude/spam/advertise

I agree. It just ruins gameplay.

 

I just wrote a bukkit plugin that replaces the phrase "ez" with "gg" in any chat message. We could just use this plugin for just 1 day on WarZ, see what would happen. Could even change the word "hacker" with "legit player". This would be hilarious. So many options. We could just replace every mean word with a nice one xD.

 

I only say "GG". The only other time I reply in chat after a kill is when they accuse hacks. Or let them TP back.

People would just find ways to bypass it. Instead of "eZ" they could do "e Z" and get past it. People will always find a way.

There is no possible way for us to prevent people raging in the chat. It's like human nature for some people. The best thing we can do is ignore them.

 

The trash talk is what keeps me going. I love it.
It can be entertaining at times - But as soon as it starts to go to far, it's dealt with.
