    Well, as the new announced "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" Nintendo has also decided to shut down a fan made Pokemon game with 400k members; "Pokemon Omega".
    A Pokemon MMO, with a fan made map, though all the pokemon were from Nintendo.
    So RIP Pokemon Omega, shutting down in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

    Pokemon Omega was the first MMORPG. There is like 15 forks of it.

    Whatever crap you manage to make up this time, the original was always better.

    You did not get what I said, no?
    Nintendo shut down fanmade Pokemon Omega because their name was to close to "Omega Ruby", a official remake of Pokemon Ruby

    I meant, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are probably just (worse) remakes of the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire.

    Not really worse. It's pretty much the same with better graphics and sound.
    Heck, IT IS Pokemon Ruby with better graphics and sound.

    FireRed and LeafGreen were great remakes, so was HeartGold and SoulSilver. They did not change the story much, and it added a lot more content. The 2 new pokemon games should be awesome, considering they will be similar in graphics with X and Y.

    I really dislike the new generation games, though.
    Especially with the new player models, the non-gridbased worlds, and moving diagonally. I just feel like some of the core mechanics were changed for the worse.

    The grid mechanics is still in Pokemon Black & White 2.
    I never got myself a 3DS.
    Though I bet Nintendo has remove the grid in Pokemon X & Y. Has they?
