    Hey you awesome people of McBrawl! Glad to know your reading this anyways I was thinking of any idea say I'm on the server and say Chaploo is an enemy on my compass (he to Gud or me to see him) and I didn't know it was Chaploo cause of course compasses don't tell you but I was thinking if I put it on town mode and held it in my hand it would tell me what town. If I put it to enemies then it would tell me the enemies name so maybe you can have a chance I ask this player for a team same with friends just to know what friend it is. Thanks for reading

    Well, the compass is just to tell you that there is an enemy or that "there is danger" nearby, not really to tell you a specific player. And plus this almost encourages "logging"

    Well in my opinion they need a way to ask for team people log anyways already so it wouldn't make a difference at all

    I don't really get this idea.
    I could've sworn we already had a compass, or something like this that tracked things...

    We do but it just shows the closest enemy's direction, not who that enemy is, which is her idea.

    The amount of people that will team with you depends a lot on where you are. So in nether, there is hardly any chance that they will team.
    As Gigga had said, a compass is usually used as an indication that an enemy is nearby. There is not much of a need for knowing who it is.

    I'm not too sure about the ability to see the enemy's name on the compass, but the towns part I think is a good idea.

    Yea and but in my opinion some people in nether don't want to team. They probably will team you if their a hero, you would probably have about a 40% chance of them saying yes to you asking for team but if we know that theres an enemy we should know who it was because loggers would log anyways and if a guy is known for teaming and he's at nether i would rather know his name so i can ask him if he would like to team.
    Well yea but some people that are on a mac (me) Its kinda hard to get optifine i didn't say it was impossible its just really hard to download all those files and crap.

    I got Mac to, and also. If your at Nether, and 3 Donators logs on. 2 of them would either be at Nether or Snow. So yowl be dead anyways. Second, people at Nether probably got Barret"s. So they don't see you as a threat.

    Enemies name -9999999999 (Encourages logging)

    And town name +0 because some towns dont even have names. The the noob sand areas, or some of the castles. If towns were named though, it'd be +1

    You don't need a name on the compass. It points in a certain direction, you run over there and kill them.
    Easy as that :stuck_out_tongue:

    Oh ok i thought this was a good idea because the "tashma hall" or whatever in desert nobody knows whats it called.

    I agree. If I scroll over my compass and it says the name of a well known hacker, you can bet I'm logging. There's a way to see who's on your compass though.

    Yes. It does more than encourage logging. Imagine... You see one persons name coming from the north... Name changes? What? Again?! AGAIN!?!?!!? 4 v 1?!!?!?!? 5!?!?!?!!?!? 6??!!?!?!?!? *log*
