Barret 50 Cal.'s Accuracy; Is it Really an Issue?

The problem with the Barret is not just its power, but a lot of players get tons of Barrets from other players they kill. This cycle has kept going on and almost everyone in zone 5+ has a Barret. Also, most players don't scope with Barret anymore. If anything, they usually Barret + Spas12 combo only a few blocks away from the player.

 

But this is exactly the reason you see a lot of players complaining about the Barret. I'm not saying it should be nerfed though.

I'm not sure if I should smack you across the face for saying this or if I should laugh my ass off.
There is like... 0.1337% skill needed for the Barret, it's the the long range version of the Spas, you can walk into people and just fire.
Also, the damned things are a rare chest find, other than that they're not, I have about I think 12 in one of my e-chests, and so do a lot of people I know.

 

In my opinion, noscopes are supposed to be inaccurate. Even if it is a rare gun, people who are MVP have loads of them and they aren't hard to come across because literally 9/10 people I kill or die to have barret. The annoying thing that I find about noscopes is that people just shoot and get free kills, thus not requiring skill. The barret just always headshots no matter what when it is a no scope, and this is very annoying to people who have less luck then others with no scopes. I think they should be in between the mc-war accuracy and the current accuracy so then there is a balance for players who want a nerf and players who don't want a nerf, but still making it more realistic. This is just my opinion about the barret's insane noscope accuracy.

 

The only nerf Barret needs is an accuracy nerf, maybe not so much as to War level because I do like no-scoping and it can save your life in combat, but to a mid-point. No terrible accuracy, and not good accuracy. Like medium-range.

 

Guys the barret is logically accurate. When you're running and jumping at the same time, it only makes sense that you have perfect accuracy as if you were still and scoping. WarZ is smarter than that guys. Get with it.

 

However, if we're talking realistically here, you're holding a 10-20 pound gun, possibly more, and you aren't scoping it. Scopes have a purpose in real life. Hip fire is hard in real life.

Meh, if a .50 cal bullet was shot anywhere near you, you would explode anyways lol.

 

If you don't like receiving negative ratings then don't post about controversial topics. I post about removing combos, nerfing donors, ect. I get tons of down votes but they only help me improve. People aren't trying to be rude but they are simply disagreeing. You brought this upon yourself by literally asking us what we though about the barret.

Anyways to be honest the Barrett damage is fine, the accuracy on the other hand is a little too accurate when you no scope.

Oh, and if we were speaking realism if you were scoped in with a barrett standing up I'm sure you'd get the wind knocked out of you. Not to mention the extreme recoil and time it would take to readjust yourself to take another shot.

 

Get with it connor! Either take the negatives like a man or leave! Jk jk. But the damage should be very high on the barret, like you said. The accuracy.... Not so much.

Nah man. I just run up mountains and shoot my .50 cal without stopping. We go hard with our guns.
