Avoiding nuke glitching!

    Nuke glitching is annoying right? well instead of that happening... once u nuke u instantly get resistance and all the items removed from ur inventory and once u get ur kills, u get ur stuff back too! and the resistance wears off! so nothing really happens to u, u cant die by another player b4 u get ur kills or suicide b4 u get them! took me weeks to think of this, hope its added. if u dont like this idea then tell me if u like being nuke glitched more because this would stop it!

    Or maybe Orange can code it so that if you kill yourself/die before your nuke detonates, then your killstreak will be kept as it is and will close nuke glitching as an exploit. Also, you will automatically die after the nuke detonates if you attempted to glitch, so your killstreak will reset and you don't get a free 5 second-pass to get killed but have your killstreak. However, I say that your idea is pretty good, but I say that mine would be better because it is more realistic/CoD like.

    I would rather have the old nuke where it just happens instantly because there are cowards who leave the game because they're too scared to get nuked.

    they might just be too afraid to be nuke glitched thats all...
    Ehh ur idea is also good RHL but it wont be CoD like because u cant glitch purposly in CoD

    Yes you can... Just run out and get killed...
    That's how I've seen people glitch nukes before...

    No more double nuking! u instantly die after u get ur kills once u get them instantly... again...

    Back in the old Days nukeglitch did not work. if you died after nuke your nuke didnt explode, simple as that!

    Or instead of adding a temporary bandaid, we found just fix the bug altogether.

    Resistance doesn't prevent nuke glitching since the death usually involves breaking a block in which a ton of damage will kill you (way more than Resistance can protect against).

    Nope! Resistance can make you unkillable, what i mean then is that not even void or /kill kills you... not even a sword with sharpness 32767 (thats not a joke)
    EDIT: this got fixed in 1.6 and now /kill and void kills you

    Directly from the Minecraft wiki: "Resistance Effect Level 5+ gives the player full immunity to all damage, with the exception of the void and the/kill command."

    Sorry, but no. It just wouldn't work like that. ALSO, you could just bull rush the spawn with your resistance.

    Do you know who is right maybe? It is 50/50.
    Maybe I am right, maybe you are right. Or maybe I should test it myself.

    Well, the page was last modified 19/05/2014, I'm not so sure if it is outdated.
    Give yourself resistance 100, and check yourself.
    I win. With Resistance level 255 (the highest) you can die of void and /kill.
