    Yes, I think it's OP. I also think they need to get rid of that. It would be easier to tell the godmoders from Golden Apples, but this isn't on topic. Please discuss only this.

    I honestly don't see how people don't find compasses op. They literally point exactly to the enemies.

    It makes it easier to find people. They induce fights.
    I think if you don't have a compass, you can't get tracked.

    If there were no compasses it would make sneaking op. Compasses are needed I think :smile:

    First off, there are no name tags in DayZ. You have to find bodies then shoot them, not name tags.

    Compasses and name tags being removed would add a whole different perspective on gameplay.

    Removing compasses would just cause people to install hacked clients with Radar, because people can be paranoid at some times..

    Stealth is made impossible with compasses, but I wouldn't remove them, just decrease their rarity.
