Moddel Nerf??

I think the word you are looking for is useless, just because you die to a weapon and it is not totally useless does not make it OP.

 

"Sometimes I am in a 14 or 20ks and someone with a gun kills me. Nerf them all so that I can't be killed." That's kinda what you're saying. If the model is nerfed then there is no point in using shotguns at all.

 

Nothing more needs to be said.

 

I personally think maybe a small little nerf. I seem to get long range killed by it quite often. I'd maybe make the rage a little less.

 

I don't think the Model should recieve a nerf. It's the only shotgun players really use and nerfing it would cause players to barely use any type of shotgun (under the exception of Infect). You can't even guarantee OSK someone with Model. Think of it this way, Model vs Skullcrusher, Iso, Ray-Gun, Python, and C-Bow. That's no competition.

 

If this logic was used for everything, every single gun in the game would have to be nerfed. I think the shotguns are severely underpowered. The moddel is the only shotgun thats worth using.

 

That is very true, but I will use today as an example. You get some of those maps with a lot of corners to hide behind. All it takes is 1 model person around that corner, and they are unstoppable. Somebody did that today and launched a NUKE.

 

You can do the same thing with Minigun and possibly nuke even faster.

 

You can easily do that with iso or skullcrusher, don't even get me started on c-bow.

 

I think I recognize you as one of those 31+ players who use the ray gun and calls out the Iso and Model.

So of course my response to this would be a -1. The Model is nearly alike to it's counterpart in MW3.

Sounds like the perfect person to call out iso and model.

 

Model is only fair. Unless you want to constantly get killed by dudes using Iso's. And it ain't getting nerfed.

 

Also just going to say model is op.
Only at close ranges though, this balances it out.

 

Bad players usually don't nuke w/ model. It's a ton EASIER with ISO, skull or bow, not to say about mini. I got a triple EMP with it yesterday. Usage of model takes skill.

 

Today on Quarry TDM, there was 1 little corner nobody could pass because of a guy using model. The corner was about 5 in, so we couldn't really get him...

 

You can always go somewhere else. Unless you want to boost him. I don't want to argue over this.
