Don't tell people to leave the server if they can't handle it! They have a right to complain about this it is out of control, so if your telling them to leave stop it is not helping at all

I'd rather stop playing on a server instead of staying on it and lose my access to the internet.

 

For the most part I agree with this. People have such a huge misconception of WarZ being this awful and ridiculous server because of only a few people who have committed several acts of transgression in the past. In the past year that I've been playing WarZ and been with McBrawl, not me or any or any of my friends have been DoSed, hacked, etc. I think the real problem is the people you talk to and how you approach it. I feel as if this issue is more dependent on who you talk to. When you're friends with a group of people who hack, ddos, etc. or know people who can commit these crimes, you shouldn't really expect anything less from happening to you if you do piss any of them off.

@Seventh_Elf my suggestion to you.

Call your ISP and have your IP changed. From there, get a VPN and remove anyone off of skype that may be affiliated with DDoS in anyway.

VPN's I'd recommend would be hotspotshield. If not you can buy a VPS from OVH and install openvpn and use that as a VPN.

It's easy to stay protected from these kinds of people, you just gotta know your surroundings and know what's going on.

Rule #1 of the internet, don't piss people off. That's what my friend told me.

I got 1 router, a VPN, and a stable skype account. I don't run into any problems.

 

When DARkxClutch was DDoSing me I kept hopping across my neighbors routers. He got so maddddd.

 

Please provide a list of all the donors that were on warz when you got ddosed. I might be able to figure out who it was.

 

Holy ****... people get DDoS'ed 1 time and they have to go on the forums and call the community a ddosing community. If you think it is that bad, which its not DDoS'ing has gone down A LOT but posts like this just remind everyone what is it and start it up. Pointless post.

Also everyone thinks its just WarZ that has DDoS'ing. Have any of you ever played anything else? Yes? No?

 

Quite honestly there actually isn't that much DDoSing going around in WarZ if you look at it as a whole, it's really only a select few, or people who have played WarZ, but no longer present in the community.

I do hope people realize that there are ways you can stop DDoS attacks, if you get booted once, okay, shame on the guy who hit you off, but if you get hit off again, that's your damn fault, because you didn't take the precautions needed, and i'm not saying it's justifiable, but after being hit off, you should realize you probably need some protection.

Overall you honestly can't do that much about being hit off, there's a reason that there's so many damn wannabe hackers who prance about with Anonymous photos and their 5$ 60s Booter, because it's a hell of a lot easier than actual crime in life, and the fact that there's very little that you can get done about it.

So, just set up the precautions you need, be careful who you trust and f*ck with, and you'll be fine.

I'm sort of torn between these two ideas. Some players go unaffected and are never ddos'ed, while others get it to the point of the internet being down every day. I think our staff needs to step into this for the people that are constantly ddos'ed, but everyone else just needs to be protected. If you really try, you can be safe.

 

I used to agree with this post if that makes sense.. I was at the point were there was certain people that I avoided killing due to the fact I might get DDoS'ed, that has gone away and I think it has gone away for almost everyone else. If WarZ DDoS'ing was on a chart it would be very very low right now. And that's how it should stay

He's not exaggerating on this, it happens all the time and I've been ddosed treat a lot of times and people have been calling me by my neighbor's name (he made the account for me) like 10000000 times, just shows how desperate people are getting to get back for losing their full diamond. And also, we can't just quit because mc-warz is just way too addicting and we just can't quit the server....

 

dont do drugz keeds.

Sev if you delete your skype then change your IP that would probably work.
