Two more moderators were added today. Scoat2 and Cbsusd were promoted to Mc-WarZ today.

 

Much of the time, WarZ's community does not give off and produce the best moderator material. As a trial, they continue to have the same commands as a normal moderater has. They may commence to abuse the commands and give a bad representation of the server.
We choose good mods. There is still the criteria needed to actual obtain that rank. We do now have more mods for WarZ. And even if they do carry two servers, that never means that they cannot balance the time given to each.

 

I understand what you are saying but mcbrawl only wants the best to do the hard work. It is chaotic currently but hopefully that will change! I plan on coming back soon so hopefully I can help out too.

 

Mc-warz servers are very differnt to moderate. Therefor you must pick certain people for the job. Everyone who had appliyed at the time were not fit for the job. If you give the wrong people moderator status, warz servers could go down hill fast.

 

Most people that apply for WarZ either has a past history of doing something bad, or currently do things that are against the rules. It's very difficult to find players that are able to moderate WarZ. We need players who can keep their calm in chat and moderate the server just as well.

There were reasons those players were denied, we don't deny apps for no reason.

 

WarZ, IMO was and is a much more difficult server to moderate (experience), not much people cheat in War just constant spam/insults. WarZ you have risks that you have to take, such as DDoSers and hackers, etc.

 

It's not just that -- it's more of the fact of how you handle those types of situations. If you're one of those players who get DDoSd and then talk trash or complain, or talk trash when you die, etc. You wouldn't be considered adequate for the position.

This literally happened about 5 minutes ago when I was playing on Server 9 of Mc-War. It appears that War has more dumbasses in the chat and WarZ has more threat spamming players who utter slang words like "skid" and "eZ" in the chat. The chat in both servers are equally as corrupted as each other.

To be honest, I seriously thought Ehvahn was gonna get the promotion. I don't know how cuddlemonster got it but ehvahn got denied.

My guess is he got denied because his Ingame activy, couple does before he applied he ranted about warz. But I could be wrong

 

They've had like 10 good apps and none of then got accepted. However, I don't think that new members deserve to get trial. For instance, they may lie about their age, Teamspeak, etc.

 

And evhan is not the right person .... ? Not to mention Skulldugery that got denied even though he was a mod before for WarZ...

 

This is diverting into why staff apps were accepted or not. Let's try to steer this back on topic.

In regard to what bob8is8cool said, the moderators do try at their job. If it is determined that a moderator's behavior shows him or her to be unfit for activity, then that mod is promptly demoted. We try to attain the lowest possible level of messing around. With that said, you are certainly correct in saying that 100 players is a rather large job for three people. With the recent promotions of @Scoat2, @Mr_OwEsOmEnEsS, and myself, moderation of the WarZ servers should be moving much more smoothly.

 

Well, I guess I'm a bit disappointed, but I'll take the deny. To be honest, I didn't think that I would get accepted when I applied; I am only 12 and putty looks for 13-14+ when accepting apps.
I am a tad confused, though, about how cuddlemonster got accepted, as I haven't seen him/her on the forums before he/she applied.
Oh well, I can still go along with my WarZ day as normal.
