Regarding Staff ~ Administration

Lately, the evidence of lack of staff is becoming more and more clear. The cause is that the people who do have the qualities of Moderators are not accepted because ChickenPutty and Chaploo are not able to be on every server, at all times, constantly on the lookout for new staff. They run the Brawl servers as a whole, and they have their own lives too (Believe it or not, they do.). To counter this problem, I have come up with a new Rank: Server Administrator.

The Rank would be granted to 1 or 2 staff members who display exceptional maturity, activity, kindness, and helpfulness. This would only be granted to current staff members, and you cannot apply. Chaploo or Putty must pick you themselves, after consulting the rest of the Administration Team. Basically, you would be administrator of 1 server, and 1 server only. You would have no special forums privileges, but you would have the permissions of an Administrator for your specific server. You can only be Server Admin of 1 server at a time, in order to encourage activity on your 1 specific server. If you give someone more than 1 Server Administrator spot, their activity will more than likely be cut in half, because they have to do double the administering.

These would, in a way, be like the head staff member of your server. Putty, as we know, can't do everything, so if McBrawl were to split up the work, the Administration would have more active Staff Members, a more "social" Staff group, (The purpose of this Rank would to be to give each server more attention from those in power) and a happier community.

If Brawl were to spread out its staff attention, we would gradually get an increasing amount of Staff Members, which is the key to a popular MineCraft server.

I hope you consider my idea, and because I am on my phone, I cannot add excessive detail. I hope you like my idea, as I believe this would be the most helpful addition to the Brawl servers at the moment.

EDIT: To clear things up, these Admins would have less power than Putty and the others, and would be "lesser" admins. They would be higher than Super-Mod, but less than the current Admins.

 

But for which server? Remember, only 1 server at a time! I personally think @BrawlerAce_ is the most active and helpful War mod, and should get the spot.

 

Great idea! Yeah, I guess it wouldn't make sense for an Head Staff for 1 server to have more power than a Super-Mod who moderates all servers. This idea would be great! Maybe make the rank name "Head Staff Member- (Insert Server Here"

 

1 "Set" of servers, such as War or WarZ.

I see what you are saying, but that would be in the short term. After a while, people will see more admins on, which gives them a better feeling of the server. I'm sure a new player would like to see a social, fun Admin playing and chatting with the players, than a quiet, more lonely server. This would, in a way, make them feel "important", like someone important knows who they are! If an Admin gives 1 on 1 attention, it will make the server feel more homey, in a sense. This may make them want to join the forums, and get more in-touch with the community. I originally only played casually on a server, and it got pretty boring. Then, I discovered a player had stolen my items, and after 1 on 1 communication with the Administrator, I joined the forums, and eventually became mod! I really felt "special", because an Admin talked to me, with no other distractions! We later became good friends, and she is the one who encouraged me to apply! The 1 on 1 interaction made me love the server, and made me feel like the staff really cared!
