Idea Ignoring Players

    I realize that the /ignore [player] is not an option. There has been some times where someone says that I hack, but I know that I don't so I just want them to stop. But they don't. Although there has been instances where an advertiser or someone who hates on you etc. I think there should be a command where you can ignore a player so you can't see what they are saying. If a /ignore or something close to that could be added, it would be greatly appreciated.

    You can always ignore them, that's why I usually do but it's ok if you want to have a /ignore command

    Do the Official Mokolee method to counter these people.

    1) Screenshoot it
    2) Publish it on the forums
    3) Keep it forever in your folder

    Well that's only if I have to use it on a mod application. I rarely distribute screenshots on the forums unless it's on an application.

    Take screenshots of the player, if they are advertising then they can be banned. Report them in the appropriate section and they will be dealt with.

    Mokolee always uses screen shots against players on their Moderator Applications. That folder probably has 300+ screen shots...

    I would like a /ignore command. Especially if a player is constantly teasing / annoying me throughout the day. This command would come in handy.

    My overall screenshots folder has 3000+ screenshots since my first one on October 2012.

    The ./Ignore command is found on many big servers. It is very helpful. It would be easy to code (I believe), and it would provide a way for normal users to prevent their chat from being clogged up by advertisers, or spammers.

    /ignore should not just be implemented on PvPSurvival, but all Brawl servers.

    i thought this was already a thing but never tried it. nevertheless this might as well be added since there are basicaly no cons.

    You can't gravedig server ideas, so you are fine.

    But this was only a thing on Factions, if I can recall. I have never seen a /ignore command on McBrawl since then.

    I think this would be a nice addition, but with some changes.

    1.) If you ignore someone, it will turn off after 24 hours. This is there to prevent that you just forgot you ignored a person, cause he actually cant tell you.
    2.) Moderators shouldn't be able to allowed or able to use /ignore. Its our job to moderate chat and not ignore anybody. Atleast we can kick annoying people if its too bad.

    But for normal players this could be very useful!

    Being an owner of a good team I get constantly spammed with "can I join your team?" . I always respond with "no, sorry" and maybe a reason. But then there are the people who don't take no for an answer... These people are the reason I like this idea.

    I get as many joining requests and they always ask or spam "why" when I deny them.

    sorry to bring this up a later time but i agree with parkman i would love to do a /ignore comand on people that
    constanly in caps say can i join u i have responed no sorry but then they spam it and like others have said accused of hacking but dont it would be an awesome idea
