WarZ Moderators; Take 2

In my opinion, moderators don't do anything besides moderate the forums. I barely see moderators caring about what people say in chat and barely see moderators recording to get people banned. There are even rumors that some of the moderators use hacks. So I think moderators should not be giving free MVP and I think all moderators should be forced to screen share to prove they don't hack, and be have to record when they play to catch cheaters.

 

If you were given staff, and you got to know the staff a lot better than you currently do, no matter what you say, you'd want to be playing on the WarZ servers with them when they are on.
It's difficult for you to speculate when you haven't been in the position yourself.

 

I can see why the moderators have been promoted to handle the swarm of people coming onto the server due to the map update, but I can see what you're talking about.

 

Sure I may like them (even though they don't like me xD) but I shouldn't be able to get 4 of them together on a server. One of them with me, yes.

I agree. Why is it even important to be on teamspeak when staff is always on their, and little of the community is on their? Staff is more active on ts3 than in game, when the server is based off the ingame .

 

He may not have been in that position, but I have, and whenever I was mod, I avoided being on the same server as another moderator, except occasionally when I wanted to play with my IRL friend, Mrcowlick. 4 mods is just too much.

They do as much as they can in-game, WarZ moderator is a hard job. And rest assured, none of the moderators use hacks. All mods should screen share? With who? The admins don't have time to watch footage of all the mods playing WarZ to make sure they don't hack. And with the amount of abuse they get, I think MVP is well-deserved.

 

I have something to add on this, I don't understand why Putty even gave them mod if they didn't need to do anything, and even if they didn't it is very irresponsible of them to be all on 1 server. Sometimes, the community has to come first before personal pleasure.
Also, @Scoat2 @rainywolvess @Mr_OwEsOmEnEsS @Cbsusd please explain why you were all on this one server.

 

Exactly my point, especially when someone like ehvahn or bob could have done a much better job. I bet half of these mods barely even know how to play the game.

But I'm not in the habit of naming problems without solutions so:

If you are a new WarZ mod and you want to know how to better answer people's questions and know more about the game, you can come to me. Don't go to the Wiki, its information has more holes than a Dutch Dam made of Swiss Cheese.

 

So they can get MVP if they want help players when they don't know much about the server.

If you two think you can do a better job of running McBrawl than ChickenPutty does, feel free to drop him a message, I am sure he will be open to reason with you. But until I see an Administrator tag underneath your names, I struggle to see how your stupid rants are having any effect, apart from wasting everyones time, and simply starting flame.

Also, staff promotes people who are active on the forums, ts3, and in game. Well, our staff isn't active in games, they rarely post on the forums, and never interact with people on teamspeak. (Not trying to say I should have been promoted here but) I was told I was inactive on teamspeak and should interact with the community more, when the staff never leaves the staff room! I try to get them to deal with someone breaking a teamspeak rule and they usually don't even come. When they do come, they join the call, say stop, then go back to the staff room.

 

It was not the intention of the thread that was pointless, it is the comments that some people have added which have made it pointless.

 

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you there. A flame war, in my eyes, is personal, and involves many insults and swear words. I would call what we're having here a debate, and if we can't discuss the problems of the server and offer some solutions in the 'Discussion' section of the WarZ Forums, then really, what is the point of the forums?
