Censor the word "skid".

First of all what does it even mean?

 

I'm pretty sure "Skid" means either 1: "Script kiddy" which is someone who copy's someones else s code. Or 2: An underwear stain

 

Well ok then no need to censor it, people would just bypass chat filters anyway.

 

If we filter it, people might think they were using more offensive four-letter censored words.

 

Skid means a wooden board or plank. That's just about it.

In gaming, skid essentially means easy kid, so if you were called a skid, somebody called you bad at whatever you were playing.

Not to be confused with script kiddie, or skiddie, which means a person who uses existing computer scripts or code to hack into computers, lacking the expertise to write their own.

There's no reason to censor it, I use it all the time, mainly against the skid hackers that run about with forcefield and LOIC, but there's no reason to censor it, it just refers to someone who skids coding off of someone, stealing it and using it as their own. For instance, you are a skid if you take the kill aura off a client, and use it in yours.

While everyone is talking about weird word meanings, did you guys know that swag means a bouquet of flowers?

 

A skid is someone who is a noob when it comes to hacking. (And I don't mean mc hacks). It is very overused and most people don't even know what it means they're just trying to "fit in"

 

It's another word for script kiddies or script kitties or script kittens, this is what my friend told me but why the hell is there going to be a damn cat scripting .-. .

 

Did you not read what I said? I talk to a lot of people that hack, and they all say it means what I stated above.

Most people don't even know what it means. I didn't even know till yesterday. Plus, it's not like it's a curse word or anything. :L

 

Zkid, $kid, s.kid, script kid, script kiddy, script kiddie, etc. People will always find a way around it.
